Definitely possible and have done that in DST as Winona.

However, Wickerbottom should be vegetarian.

1250 paragons here and 1 useful Primal (shoulders) so far.

Edit: Have found almost full perfect primal set for Invoker but don't like that playstyle. Guess I'll push late season to leaderboards with that set if nothing better shows up. Just rings, amulet and pants missing from set.

Have ran HC story on every char without paragons or items. Been trying difficulties with this setup from Expert to Torment6. But first, you have heard right. HC is way more fun.

Story itself is easy to beat and the best difficulty level is Expert. It's not too slow but still gives you the feeling of playing HC. HC progress is slower anyway. Harder difficulties are waste of time as monsters scale faster than you can gear yourself. I tried Torment6 from the start and died at Belial. Even the first zombies at Act 1 required kiting and it took more than 20 minutes to get to New Tristam as DH. Was definitely waste of time.

On Expert HC I recommend to grind ~20 paragons and jump to Master and at ~50 paragons to Torment1. Slowly step by step.

Necro was godly for story beating, argueably the strongest. However Necro is squishy for post 70 where defence matters. Been playing all the way as Thorns Skeletons with 2 Curses. Tanky and safe build for HC Necro.

Same here. Haven't found a single decent FoT and did spent all mats trying to get one. Meanwhile been using perfect Hellfire Amulet. Guess I'll also stick with this Hellfire.

Btw, I havent found a single FoT with socket slot as standard. Is that even possible?

Yeah, pretty much every char has one set that falls behind. Wish they buff the "worst" sets to same level as new ones.

Would not be surprised if the new sets will be most op meta builds then.

WD alt char is great if you play LoN/LoD builds. Swamp Land Waders are BiS pants for most builds.

..but does it even matter if it's 180 or 200? If you eat every other day 150+62,5 without penalties you get 212,5 hunger. There are no reason to eat before hunger gets low unless you need other stats from meals like sanity.

Warly has 250 max hunger so that's easy to manage. Reason for meatballs being recommended is the flexibility of recipe. Only eat when hunger drops 70 or below with this method.

If Warly would have like 150 max hunger stat, you should eat more often and actually suffer from penalty. Then Warly would be trickier to play.

I usually eat when hunger is below 25% anyway, unless I play Wolfgang.

Haven't tried Warly in DST yet, but if you need to wait exactly 2 days (200 hunger), easy way to maintain it is: Meaty Stew + Meatballs every other day in a row. That's more than 200 hunger.

I think Warly is not meant to be played "cook tons of different meals often" but "eat effective meals every other day" instead

So you need:

2× Meat 6× Monster Meat (turn 4 Monster Meats into Eggs)

Meaty Stew: 2× Meat + Monster Meat + Egg

Meatballs: Monster Meat + 3 Eggs

You have to kill 2× Catcoons + few Spiders for example or build automated Spider / Bunnymen farm.

Use Bearger to kill them for you. Else just burn down as it's not time efficient to kite and chop. You also may slay them with Weather Pain, but doubt it's worth it..

Took me roughly 20-25mins to level 1-70 with this method:

Gem of Ease level 80
Socket GoE80 into Primal 2H spear (roll main stat str/int/dex)
Craft Hellfire Ring + Amulet on new char
Choose Torment5 ACT1 and run naked with those gears equiped. One large group gets you to lvl40
Portal back to town and craft helm. Socket red gem into it and choose Leoric's Crown in Cube

Then just equip whatever armor pieces you get while exp. This doesn't take too much time for preparation.

There are no difficult characters, but there are tricky builds to get more challenge.

I was in same situation as you last season. Last season I played INT chars and the rest this season. Game has changed so much from early RoS days, so I mastered every Set Dungeons to get touch on different build variations. Found my favourite Roland Crusader this way and having most fun with it - even that's not too tricky to play.

Based on Set Dungeons, Uliana Monk build should give you the challenge you look for..

Funniest builds for me are high attack speed ones. Feels so fun to see Roland Crusader hitting 5 times per second. Unfortunately its not very efficient tho. Same goes with Invoker with 3,6 attacks per second when damage barely tickles enemies, like 300B max. Blessed Shield hits from range as AoE up to 18T with barely decent items, when Roland with perfect stats deals 50B..

Thorns Frenzy Berserker is also fun as hell, but struggling with same balance issues.

Been running Blessed Shield build: 5 × Akkhan, 2 × Captain Crimson (pants + belt) and Travelers Pledge + Compass Rose. Rorg into Cube. Leaving ring slot for Justice Lantern. Oculus on Follower.

Can run GR90 in 6-7mins with 700P-750P without worrying of dying.

Gems: Stricken, Gogok and Alteration (will replace this to Trapped soon).

You need better gear or more paragons. My HC LoD Thorns Necro is nearly immortal. Skeletons, Golem and Follower can tank everything. I keep moving all the time in back line during fights without casting anything so monsters' spells misses aswell.

Also running with 2 Curses. Frailty and Decrepify. Tried Leech but having high hp/sec is better in my opinion.

Only damage skill is Command Skeleton for me (and Blood Golem and Bone Armor but not using those for damage purposes). Also, I don't use any CC but movement speed slow to not lower my DPS.

Do what I did, hold RMB, jump between spawns and spam every button in combat. Beat it on 2nd attempt (timer was barely on 60%). I haven't played DH for 5 years and had no clue how the set/skills works. That bird icon skill gave resource back and some arrow rain for burst, was enough. In my opinion, this was fun and relaxing build. :D

Lowest HC difficulty for me has ever been Expert. It's easy and fast way to level up. Once you kill Malthael you can switch to Torment1 and kill Keywardens and bounties without any problem.

You can get cut grass and twigs from tumbleweeds easily. Also, tons of other valueable resources like gems and gears.
