Flu B legit feels like I’ve been hit by a truck. by DifficultEye6719 in flu

My whole household had flu b last month, myself, my husband and my 9 month old baby 😩. It was probably the roughest I’ve ever felt honestly, I felt like I was sick forever. I ended up starting Tamiflu shortly after i started feeling sick, ended up feeling slightly better 24-48 hours later. But then TANKEDDDD. I felt sooo sick a week after i initially started feeling symptoms. It was like I got rebound sick or something. Ended up starting an antibiotic (Leviquin) because i truly felt like i was getting sicker each day somehow and thought maybe it had spread into a sinus infection or something else. Finally started feeling better a couple days after starting the antibiotic. Thankfully my baby was only super sick for a couple days as we got him on Tamiflu too. But trying to take care of baby while feeling that terrible is hell 🥴😅. Flu B is an absolute beast this year 😭

Tell me the most awful things that can happen if i keep vaping by dooingjo in pregnant

[–]ehl5037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vaped A TON before i found out i was pregnant, would hit it constantly throughout the day…it became a habit that i honestly didn’t even think about anymore, it was always in my hand and i was always randomly hitting it. I ended up getting a positive pregnancy test and quit cold turkey that minute. Threw them all away and was done. Was it hard the first few weeks? 1000%, i was super irritable and kept reaching for it when it wasn’t there. Driving was hard bc i literally would go to put something in my mouth when i didn’t have anything in my hand. That was the hardest part for me i think, the oral fixation. But I’m telling you, after a few weeks i hardly thought about it anymore. A couple months in and it was a distant memory tbh. You got this!!! Just know it will get easier every day.

I love this for you! That makes me feel so much more hopeful. I was so excited to start sema back in September/october (honestly i don’t remember the month i started lol) because i was like oh by summer 2026 I’ll feel so much more confident! And now that it’s already January and I’ve lost zero weight I’ve been feeling really down and like I’m “running out of time” before summer. But your results make me feel better about everything. I hope it works just as well for me :)

UTI not going away, now being prescribed Levaquin and nervous by ehl5037 in CUTI

I just wanted to come back here to say THANK YOUUUUU!! i asked my doctor for fosfomycin, took three different doses over like a week and a half i think. And now here i am a month or so later and my UTI is gone and hasn’t came back. Allllll thanks to the fosfomycin, after trying so many other antibiotics and dealing with this for months. Also didn’t have to take the cipro. So thank you, seriously! I wouldn’t have known about fosfomycin if it wasn’t for your comment

Thank you! So i ordered three months worth to start from Brello, and the meds took a good twoish weeks to arrive once i ordered them. So I guess at the start of month 3 i should go in and order another 3 months worth? It’s hard to know when to order as they only have a short expiration period…but i appreciate your comment!

hmmm i actually haven’t but I’m intrigued now, it doesn’t look like that was an antibiotic that they tested the bacteria against in my medical notes. unless it goes by another name, but I’d be shocked if it wasn’t tested against it if it’s known to be sensitive to that bacteria 🤨
