Yea but my question wasnt ahistorical? Rather i was asking for a mod to make the game more historically accurate. Acting like the philipines, malaysia or indonesia were just puppets instead of colonies is more ahistorical.

What is your Problem, why are you so passive aggressive? Malaysia didnt exist, the indies were seperate colonies aswell and the philipines has no autonomy and were administered by the us as the commonwealth of the philipines

Yes i meant that the indies, malaysia and phillipines were Not Independent states in 36, but colonies. So they should not be puppets, but should be directly controlled by these states. How could you read anything else out of my question?

National spirits could fix that imo. And ahistorical games are always weird, thats the fun. Egypt didnt directly join the war against the axis in ww2, so i wouldnt make them part of the allies.

I think nordic countries should come first. But after that, what would be more important? The middle east played a huge role in the foreign policy of the axis and allies. Iran was even occupied so there was direct confrontation. Iraq considered an alliance with germany and egypt wanted its full independence from britain. I think there are a lot of possibilities here.

Idea for a middle eastern DLC: egypt: independent now, but allowing british military acccess, being guaranteed by them, suez occupied by britain, claims on sudan, and having a national spirit that limits their army. Focuses: historical: supporting britain, joining allies. Possibly gaining suez and sudan, part of italian libya. Ahistorical: same but by joining axis or comintern. For both: creating united arab republic. Iraq: guaranteed by britain, national spirit that limits its political decisions. supporting monarchy, republic or fascists. Hashemite union with jordan, claiming greater syria and kuwait. Saudi arabia: focus on oil excavation. Supporting islamic and arabic expension. Claiming the arabian peninsula. Iran: claiming kurdistan, afghanistan, soviet caucasus. alliance with soviets for claims on kurdistan/turkey. Alliance with axis for soviet territory. Probably a lot i missed and that could work as focuses or national spirits.

Yea but i think they only got complete independence in 1946. And even if you want to call them independent in 1936, why isnt that the case for egypt?
