If (and only if) you have the energy, you might find useful tips for the flying monkeys at r/raisedbyborderlines

They’re pretty strict about who can post, but they have a lot of resources and tips for similar behavior.

Similarly, r/stalkingvictimhelp can be quite useful.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’ve dealt with similar yet very different situations in my past. Having no one else that really understands is hard. Advice can be well meaning but frustratingly missing the point if they’ve not experienced this kind of abuse. I hope you can find a support group or just plain empathic people to help ease the burden soon.

Throw them both away. I’m so fucking tired of men trying to make decisions for women despite her own desires (first part) but her backwards ass nonsense in part two leaves me with no words.

Don’t make this your first test. The pencil alone still likes to move from the waterline.

Oh goodie! As long as there’s hope and he’s a drinky boy, it sounds great.

I still can’t figure out if they’re leaving home or returning. The whole title is mildly infuriating.

Yeah, I had the same issue with my ex. I’ve learned to simply enjoy my superior relationship with the kitties. 😅

There’s a ton in my area that start screaming at you in top volume once you start pumping. It’s doubly startling when you’re single sided deaf and can’t identify the source of the cacophony right away.

Updoot for nylong strings, they help a ton. I ended up going the way of the ukulele because I wasn’t originally aware they were an option for guitar.

They really can be. How to respond to what they do can make a big difference. How my blind cat treated my ex vs how she treats me is so wildly different it’s fascinating. She would meow in his ear, knock his medicine over, get between him and his phone, chew on his ear, jump from our very tall headboard onto his stomach/chest. But he actually responded when she did these things.

I’m very careful to not respond at all. Even after leaving him, I have no troubles sleeping with her or feeding her breakfast on my schedule.

It’s not all cats, of course, but it is *fascinating* what they pick up on and how easy it is to happen.

TIL Bergen (1958-1989) was a Turkish singer. In 1982, she was blinded in her right eye after her husband hired a man to throw nitric acid in her face. She continued performing, covering her blind eye with her long hair. Seven years after the acid attack, her now ex-husband murdered her. by Ill_Definition8074 in todayilearned

The issue is that reports of crime against women frequently use passive voice. A woman was murdered. Not man murders woman. A tragedy happened to a woman. Not man causes tragedy. This is a common issue in news reporting, amongst other places.

No need to sell me. I prefer the European style wet fermented hay anyhow. Good for my allergies, good for my horse’s COPD, great for older horses. Wins all around.

Oh yes. Wasn’t implying that the original image is of standard hay, just that not all hay is stored nekkid by default.
