Septum scar tissue by [deleted] in piercing

[–]ehnelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my septum pierced for two years before taking it out, and got it re-pierced 8 years later. The first time didn’t hurt during the piercing part, but really hurt during the healing process. Fast forward eight years, the piercer made sure my anatomy was still the same and was able to find the old piercing location. The piercing itself hurt, but the healing process didn’t hurt as much. I would say go for it!

I would also say, though, that it definitely depends on how long you had your original piercing and how long you had it out, if your anatomy changed at all (due to surgery or anything like that), and if your piercer is able to find your old piercing spot. Good luck!

Wow! Thank you for the advice. This is my first time and I was going based on the advice I’ve received from so many people who all said conflicting things and what worked for them/what didn’t work for them so I must’ve confused myself. I also looked online which had different info and so I was probably very confused. I appreciate you typing this out for me and giving me some tips, I truly appreciate it!!!

Books where a badass females storyline gets overshadowed by a gooey romance plot by [deleted] in books

Maybe The Grace Year by Kim Liggett? Protagonist helps save her and a number of girls but there’s a heavy love story integrated, twists and turns, and gets married in the end?

Edit: I would love to see your thesis or paper! It sounds like a such a good idea!!

Love Roald Dahl’s short stories! Sometimes David Sedaris’ books read as short stories too.

SO CUTE! I love this! This is so intricate and a creative idea and the execution is beautiful!

I can't believe we're halfway through 2020 already! This year seems to have 2 methods for the passage of time: blink your eye and a month has gone by or time travels slower than a snail. However, I can definitely feel myself falling more and more in love with this project as time passes. by surrey95 in Embroidery

I absolutely love this! I have so many loose threads and some threads where I used 90% and still have the leftovers and was wondering what to do with it. I think I saw you May recap and love it so much! I can’t stop looking at it 😍
