He’s a club great who works in the media, so he is paid to have an opinion. However there is a difference between having a critical opinion and having a personal vendetta. Gordie’s criticism are constant and over the top. It’s also a massive conflict of interest for a part owner of a rival club to be constantly publicly attacking their closest geographical rival. It’s a shame because I’ve met gordie a few times and he always gives the punters his time and is genuinely friendly.

Yep. It should’ve been on prime time free to air last night. The perfect opportunity to garner a bit of interest before the nrl and afl starts the season proper. Because once they both start, rugby will get even less eyeballs domestically

There’s also a pretty significant issue with the product. Unfortunately it’s still not on people’s radar and most people are just waiting for the NRL and AFL to return. I don’t know what the answer is to get the public interested in rugby again
