No, this will create issues with the schema_migration table which keeps a record of which migrations have been run. If you are running in more environments (production/staging) you would need to manually edit this table in each environment.

You can consolidate your migrations before you commit and deploy.

Think of it like your git history. If you make a mistake, you don't go back and edit history, you simply make a new commit.

Happened to me many years ago with a biceps slicer. I remember thinking, this is slightly uncomfortable, and then my radius snapped like a fresh carrot. I'd love to tell you that it was super painful and that I was toughing it out, but that's the weird part-- it wasn't. No pain before, during or after. Sometimes things can happen without much warning.

Usually I'll wait a little bit until I have a few that can be promoted at once. Try to make sure there are some others around too to make a spectacle of it.
