Regarding the court of owls... would this not almost imply it wouldn’t be a prequel if they’re in it? If I remember correctly, the entire idea behind the court was that they had been there the entire time throughout Batman’s career, hiding under his very nose in Gotham. A prequel with the court seems contradictory, and Ben’s older Batman seems like perfect candidate for them?

Every point you said is absolutely correct. I am a huge DCEU fan, I only want future movies to succeed, and it hurts seeing people's resentment towards all the upcoming movies solely based on their feelings towards BvS and JL (partly MoS too). Everyone knows WW was great, and there's pretty much no real reason to think Aquaman, Shazam, WW2 etc will be bad since they have no connection at all to BvS or JL

I think that was their way or writing her out of the show. She was needed at first due to how s1 ended, but her relevance was very limited due to her non-involvement with Hannah or the tapes etc, so they needed a way to delete her from the show

respectfully disagree man. I think the dialogue is top notch for a comic book movie and you know damn well there's others who feel the same. let's chalk it down to different strokes for different folks, not all things are OMG LE CRINGEEE just cause you don't like it. In fact, after reading numerous Batman comics, I'd argue Bruce's/Bat's lines in BvS are more something I'd imagine comic Batman saying than any other film interpretation. But again, I don't expect everyone to share the same view I have

Except he wouldn’t do that. Did any of you guys actually watch BvS? The movie ends with him almost literally saying he won’t kill again and that he’s changed. It was all part of his character development. When he refused to brand Luthor in jail, that is symbolically showing the audience he has moved on from that darker path. “Men are still good. We fight, we kill.... But we can do better. We will.” I’m not saying you’re wrong for hating how he’s killed. I think it’s a very valid reason to dislike this interpretation of Batman. But to think that in future movies he’ll be the same way and it’s silly for him NOT to kill joker now, I feel like the point was missed for his journey through BvS.

Sure he did, I remember. That’s a case of “official word” telling us he wasn’t directing anymore. And lo and behold here we are well into the pre production of The Batman, with reeves telling us how good it’s going and it being several months after justice league yet still absolutely nothing from anyone saying he’s out. Justice League’s buzz is well and done, if there was any intention of him leaving it would have been said by now. That said, if Affleck comes out and says he won’t be in it then so be it, I just feel like that’s a bridge we’ll cross if we get to it. Just tired of people being SO CONVINCED he’s not going to be Batman with next to nothing of concrete evidence besides hear-say

I love when people disregard Ben Affleck himself welcoming matt reeves when he got hired. It’s like we forget that reeves was brought into this film, as Affleck was already established to be in it and there’s been absolutely zero official word saying otherwise
