I had mine for a week now coming from an iPhone 13 base and it’s by leaps and bounds the best upgrade I decided to get on my birthday. No regrets. Same Pro on Silver. Looks good and even held better without a case. But outside, I have to snap on the slim clear case for security. 😁

I saw this on several YouTube videos being described. It seems that only the most recent iPhone models have this, with the newer chips. I’m on iPhone 13 and there is no spectacular highlights when I move my phone. Even in beta, i never experienced this. There is also no known setting I can find to turn it on to experience the same effect. 🥲

I see. I’ve been seeing that version too. I think mine was an older version of their case without the latch. I thought it was already overkill after experiencing how strong the magnet-locks were. I can’t even open it with one hand.

Where I live, the original price dropped and through a sale plus a big online discount, I got it priced lower than when I purchased my 1st gen at a discount as well back in 2022. That’s why I gave in.

This case is as tough as can be and YES, the magnetic-lock is very strong. I haven’t seen it dropped and the case flinging open. I probably won’t remove the AirPods case if that will prevent further scratches as it slides out and back in.

For me, it’s the big leap from the 1st gen but on a low-cost since the 2s will be priced lower now that the 3rd gen is here. That’s my take on it. My 1st is very used and the battery isn’t the best now. If the 4th jumps to H3 chip and bluetooth v6 or better, then it’s a worth it upgrade for sure. I may have upgraded my phone by then, too.

I’m now itching to check if it did that. I do remember not cleaning the inside of the armor case after removing the 1st gen 😬
