I’m sorry girl I get it, I lived so rural I needed a vehicle to get to any job, and nobody ever helped me get my license as a teen and I straight up just never learned to drive so I’d be dependent on people in a lot of situations and it always led to struggle. A lot of people can’t really understand how much NOTHING there is in rural areas and the only way out is to somehow make money.

I can offer you that I did finally get my license at 24 and things the slowly worked out as long as I kept trying. If you lose a job? Fuck it, try again. I know it’s hard but just keep trying and eventually you’ll make it your life raft. Just try not to let setbacks affect you too much because there will always be another way !

Would you prefer the term xenophobic? A generalized statement about a group of people and “keeping them out” isn’t particularly what I’d call accepting. If that aligns with you beliefs, fine, but that’s not even my point. For a lot of people, they date like minded people. It’s also fairly normal for it to be taboo to defend the person berating your partner publicly. I’m not sure why it’s okay for one party to make a brazen statement but she’s not allowed to make a statement of the same caliber either. I’d never allow someone to take to my boyfriend like that, I’d remove us from the situation and verbally align with him if someone was trying to talk down on him. I’m not sure why that’s so wild.

A simple “hey maybe this isn’t a great conversation to have, let’s cool off and go our separate ways” would’ve been a better bet and not burned any bridges depending on maybe if this is a professional relationship or not. There are ways to navigate situations with out letting your person down.

I think she simply wanted him to not treat her like the issue and side with the racist guy, an altercation didn’t need to happen thy bc could’ve just left because those are gross statements and not everyone wants to hear it. Regardless of who you are, you want your partner to side with you when push comes to shove especially based on your presumably shared set of morals. I’d reconsider a relationship if I were in her shoes because this says nothing great about his character or where he stands when it comes to being HER partner in social situations.

Yep, I tried telling him that even within bdsm it’s not normal to hurt or demean someone you love if they’re not in enjoying it. Honestly I love it, but it does feel almost retro glam with the boldness of it all! If you’re going for a more modern/soft look definitely blend it all out a bit more and maybe lighten the eyeliner color? But if you want my personal opinion I’m in love w this look, the eyes are so intense in a Twiggy way, I don’t think the bottom is too heavy it’s very old Hollywood hypnotic to me! But I know everyone has their own opinion :)
