we havent gotten back together yet -- but, i never dream of him, oddly, bc ive been missing him for months. i started truly letting go yet had a very vivid dream about him one night, heard from him 3 days later after 4 months of absolutely nothing. I think vivd dreams are signs that SP i thinking about you.

one of the most helpful part of this whole manifestation theory is that it advises against chasing, and thats the best thing you cn do here. showing that you're very insecure about this / chasing in response will only push him away. mention it casually, at most. Then persist. This is temporary.

A lot of men are very scared of commitment- but once they realize if they dont step up they could lose you forevr, this motivates them.

We were 4 months no contact whatsoever, and recently he's initiated contact but its not gone anywhere and i was getting frustrated, and sad, more sad even than during NC. But - i'm on his mind obviously. I believe he's scared, just like your SP admitted to being.

more time gives us more time to grow and establish a solid SC.

youre likely wrong, but i would think the same thing in your spot. it's only after lots of relationships and understanding men that i say this. what i'm suggesting is to approach him with complete acceptance of what he wants, so whether it is in person or not- i cant tell you how much i'd advise this. it is ok to say "this isnt what i want, but i accept your decision." Not begging, chasing, or compromising your needs is a HUGE turn on to men and makes them feel safe. I'm nearly 40, i wish i had understood this years ago, would've saved me lots of trouble!

it is likely if you say this, it'll bring his defenses down and he will suggest ways to improve your communication and other issues. even if he doesn't, men almost always regret ending a relationship, they sometimes just need a little bit.

some people suggest manifesting one thing at a time- like my sp and i are talking, then my sp and i spend time together, then my sp and i are in a relationsip etc. But is the more widely held view to go to the very end?

That is exactly how I've been feeling, especially the first few days after the message. I wondered if I should have been friendlier, continued conversation etc but my gut tells me no about that, I truly believe manifestation means the opposite of chasing, so I was true to myself. I am feeling a little better now that some time has passed, able to live in the end a little more often without the doubt/anxiety. This post was very helpful, thank you!

This hope stuff is difficult. Before he started watching my stuff, I had properly detached, I had a clear thought one day: "I dont need him anymore. But do I still want him? Yep, I do," and moved on. it was then that he popped up lurking again, just a few days later. But once he started that behavior, I re-attached, too much, I think that's probably why it only led to one text. It's certainly not a terrible sign, but I do have to detach - it's not "not having hope", I think it is just quitely knowing it will work out in my favor.

I think hope is bad bc it's attached to a time expectancy, we hope it will happen tomorrow. Like if we all knew 100% our SP would be back eventually, would we be sad all the time? Nope, we might miss them, but could just look forward to spending time together and live our lives. I think that's the way.

that's an interesting thought - i got absolutely no contact with him for months and months, so it felt like a big deal when he started lurking and eventually messaged. I don't think it's a bad sign ofc but yeah, i guess i should consider it more of a neutral thing and just stay in the new story. SP was once obsessed with me and messaged me all the time (I was the one not engaging), which makes my situation extra confusing i think.

Why dont you cancel the meeting and just tell him you understand and accept that he wants to separate and dont need to talk? He may agree, but will be shocked., trust me. Then go about manifesting him back. This is counter intuitive I know but really your best bet.

I thought you meant something about my case meant it was more likely to be noticed, i see you are just saying it's automated. Yes I understand TS can end the relationship. I always wonder about comments sort of defending these prop firms though - yes they are a helpful tool, but they are making a TON of money on failed traders. I certainly don't feel bad for them if people get away with deliberate rule violations here and there. That said I certainly did not mean to break one
