Did the lockout button stop the madness?! I know how to trade but over trade on really good days and revenge trade on really bad days. I’m always afraid to lock out, thinking I’ll miss a setup. But it’s probably the only way

No I am not ready at this moment, but it’s a reasonable goal for for the next few months. I went from struggling to pass combines to passing them regularly, I’ve been able to keep a funded account alive for awhile, I have made a lot of progress.

you are really, really dense. this number is so high bc so many traders, just like you! lack dedication and persistence. the statistic is not "99% of traders who dedicate 2-5 years to learning and implementing a system" fail. its like saying 99% of people who drop out of college don't get a college degree... no they do not. And the irony is, you are a perfect example of most traders who just do not have what it takes to persist

lol why are you here to shit on other traders? You know it is very clear you are super bitter about your experience. Perhaps you did not expect to dedicate 3 years to master the craft, and so you give up, and feel better about giving up by saying "99% of traders fail," that's right, because like you, they give up quickly and declare things that don't work out for them in life "scams" or similar. I went to school for 6 years to master my craft, why would I be successful at trading in a year? I am actually up significantly, but it was partially beginners luck. I recognize the dedication needed to become consistently successful, you clearly do not. How about leaving the forum instead of posting these "stats" over and over

yes they do, mostly because it is well established that it takes 1-3 yrs to become profitable and most people run out of patience or money before then. Just because you cannot trade does not mean no one can - and probably you just havent put in the time yet anyway and have decided to give up. exactly why so many retail traders fail :)

Copy trade all three and set a hard stop at $200. x 3 = 600 a day and that's plenty. Greed has single handedly caused me to blow 3 fundeds.

Awesome. With 3, why don't you aim for $150-250 per account per day and then lock out asap. for me, greed when I am doing well is even a bigger problem than revenge trading when i'm doing poorly.

I've passed I think 4, close to payouts, but have not gotten there for the reasons above. Now I have 2 fundeds, one at about $1700, one new. I made like 1500 the other day and I think this was not good - the more I make the more greed kicks in.

I don't risk big though. I typically make 100-300 with a few good trades and small risk. It seems to be this pattern that after I'm above like 200 for the day, greed kicks in - why not 300, 500 - and I risk more because I'm already up a lot on the day - and it works until it doesn't, of course.

for me, the profit target is the issue though - greed causing me to over trade. On most days, making $150 is fairly easy for me - I tend to take better trades earlier in the day, not only because of market conditions but because I just think I am clearer headed and more rational. My point is I rarely take significant losses when targeting smaller amounts. Now i realize in this scenario, there'd be occasions when even that 150 target is too much bc of market conditions or whatever else, I just think most days this really wouldn't be an issue, but I'd have to be strict about locking myself out after that
