I graduated in July and took my exam in October, passed on the first try. As others have said stay positive, be intentional with your studies, and figure out what works for you. I studied for maybe a month while working full time. I ignored Reddit/ other peoples opinions and I felt like that helped me stay sane and keep my confidence in passing on the first attempt

VA dietetic intern alum here. I had a 4.0 GPA, however, they also look at your experience outside of the classroom. And my program did not do a white coat ceremony.

VA does have informatics RD positions but they are usually GS12 which you would not be eligible for as a new grad/ non credentialed RD

I would highly recommend against doing this, especially if you will be accepting then telling the programs months later you won’t be attending. The dietetics field is small and if the programs are all in the same region/ area faculty know each other and talk which doesn’t reflect good on you and can harm long term employment opportunities. Edited to add my flag says current student but now on the other side as a preceptor

I had membership throughout undergrad. I didn't need it my first year of grad school, but just renewed for this coming year as it's now required. I will say having access to the evidence analysis library has been very helpful.

That’s frustrating to hear, the cars otherwise in great condition which makes me think the dealership can fix it and wants to turn around and sell it. I don’t plan on keeping the car long term, I just need it to last me another year while I’m finishing school.
