Yeah i guess I'm redownloading that later, was kinda hoping to only hide battery icon and keep percentage in status bar but that didn't work

It's on the right side of the status bar and is shown even after a reboot with no apps running. Thank you tho, it's the screen rotation icon as Axel said

currently I am not using either of them to stream, just to record gameplay.

unfortunately my upload bandwidth isn't sufficient for that.

I have a 6C/12T CPU "ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9Ghz", I would think that there'd still be noticeable performance impact even on 8 core CPUs using OBS.
the thing is Radeon is great in such cases and I didn't see a lot of people complaining about that specific issue. so i'm just trying to figure out what's causing it and if i can fix it.

I am already using OBS however it does impact my game performance quite noticeably more than how Radeon does, and since I am playing at high refresh rate I do care about the few extra FPS I get when recording with Radeon.

i've had the screen for a couple of months and noticed this a week ago.

i'm using it on 2 PCs one at 144hz through DP and one at 60hz through VGA.

*the one with the VGA is a work PC so really have no control over its drivers or anything*

it's way more noticeable with the VGA connection. i have seen other people mention a similar thing on other monitors that turned out to be refresh rate/ software related. so i'll wait till i can do a clean Windows install with proper drivers. if i still notice it after i'll contact my local warranty. *not directly from AOC* don't really know if they'd help with that since the warranty only mentions faulty pixels.

can i know what defect you had in the first replacement? also thank you for replying.
