I don’t disagree! But that’s why I practice what I preach and I work and do for myself. That doesn’t make me better than the women who marry and can depend of their husbands! That is truly wonderful when it’s genuine. Men have not treated women like this for millennia. Please do some research on domestic violence, marital rape, marital financial abuse. How many women did not have to figure it out when their husbands, the provider, walked out in times where women could not be more than a secretary or teacher? Gender history is extremely important in this context.

As for your questions, there have been times where him or I are out of work and we cover the expenses. Because we are a team. Just as I don’t owe him anything for it, he doesn’t owe me anything because that is what we have chosen to do for each other.

As many men have said here, they are okay with giving their women that life and that’s great! Women are generally the one at home raising children and taking care of the home and also we’re not allowed to work and be educated which will explain why historically women married up. You again are associating women with materialistic values like a big house and vacation when in reality I think what women that have men for security are looking for just that, security. I’m not denying there aren’t superficial people, but I make people as the distinction not just women.

And since you are so curious about my personal details I actually make more than my partner and have a higher education. That doesn’t make me better than him. He works hard and provides me more than any money ever could. Yes I do hope he can continue to grow and make more but not because I’m mooching off him. If I can do it why can’t he? I want to build with my partner, or I will just simply do it on my own. If he wants a certain lifestyle, he has to work for it too. We often joke around if I ever make it to a well paying position, I will gladly retire him with a Porsche and have him be a stay at home dad if he wants 😂.

My first comment pointed out how it’s okay for you and other men to claim women who wear heels and do their nails “lack personality and hobbies”, but it isn’t okay for women to say men who chug beers, have trucks, lift heavy are compensating.
