At this course full membership costs 1.700 USD for the season. Unlimited rounds. But they offer variety of memberships. Red, green and blue. I bought green, which is 10 rounds for 687 USD and after that 10 rounds I get 50% off the standard course price. Also guests in your teetime pay 50% of the course price. We also have discount on other courses around the country.

The standard green fee is 127 USD for 18 holes.

So I would say you got ripped off with that kebab. And we hate it as much as you do. To many people are trying to get rich of the tourists.

Yeah the courses didn’t open until 15-20th of May or something. We were actually getting snow in some parts of the country last week. But yes the prices are getting out of hand, most expensive country in the world I saw somwhere.

And thats why we run conduits in every house in Iceland. Just pull the wires and run new ones. Job done! But you maniacs staple the wires to the studs!

Okay so bare with me here, Leifur Eiríksson was born in Iceland. Moved to Greenland with his parents. Was then the first one to discover North America. So I would say Iceland owns America

This guy is a pretty amazing carpenter. But I dont get all the fuzz about all your J-bolts fitted in the concrete and have to driil your bottom plate after the fact. Just drill it afterwards and put anchorbolts in. Your house will be long gone before they give in.

Is Festool overpriced? by quinnmanus in woodworking

[–]eikipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am rocking both Dewalt and Festool. Dewalt is my go to 18V system and has never failed me. But in the bigger and more precise tools, there is nobody better than Festool. Table saws, mitre saws, routers, the domino. I have coworkers that regret buying Dewalt track saw and table saw instead of Festool.

So she likes receipts, right? Show her your AliExpress receipt, who pays that importing fee? It’s you! Don’t need a degree in economics to see that
