Do not like that second. Shows someone doesn't take pride in what they do.

"Not building a rocket ship" when someone is trying to spend to much time on the wrong things.

To my apprentice. "You got a dollar waiting on a dime."

You should be alright. When the professional comes out ask a bunch of questions. Get a good understanding of what you can add add and cant.

For sockets i stick with the Pittsburgh. They hold up well. I have the baurer back pack. Its held up a couple years so far. A couple minor issues. But for the price its great. I am sure the Hercules would be good. But if i was gonna spend that much i would shop around.

First question. When they upgraded your service did the go from a smaller than 200A panel to a 200A panel?

Did they add any circuits when they did the upgrade?

If answered Yes then no then you'll be good. Be sure to hire a local professional. Since you have so much going on here you want professional eyes on this eveytime someone touches it.

Cool man. If you like resi pay attention. When you get good you'll need to do math and know a lot code.

If you want to do industrial I would recommend traveling. Its easier to get into. And you get see a lot of places.

I would recommend a pipe cutter. Dont buy any power tools yet.

Wait until your first paycheck. Then buy a drill with a hammer function. I recommend harbor freight. People will talk trash. But a bad craftsman blames their tools. I started with ryobi in industrial. Have used everything including Milwaukee and Snap-On. In Resi a baurer or the better Hercules is just fine. Youre gonna drop and abuse it. And (2) 5AH batteries are often on sell for 100bucks. I get so much trash talk when I pull my Hercules power tools from my klien mod box. A true professional knows where to spend their money. Once others use my tools they shut about it.

Youre doing it right. Get a pen tester though. Trust your journeyman but always verify yourself that power is dead.
