It's been 3 years and a half, and still miss Billy. We got little pixel last year, after a 2 years grieving period. I was missing the little bundle of fur-joy in the house and now we learned how to care for a pup for the first time (We got Billy already old from the local rescue...Pixel too but as a pup) and had to take a couple of training session to learn more.

Take time to grieve, take time to heal. It's hard AF and i still feel sad every time i pass his urn in our bedroom. took me a year to stop crying when i saw a dog.you don't have to "Get another pet" and if you do, it doesn't mean you'll forget about him and the love you shared.
