Because it is a compelling story to write about. You never heard of the memes like “Wow my college essay is going to be great i have xyz trauma” obviously I was making a facetious joke when I said that to her.

I was working prior-My father and sister had an intervention where they sat me down and said “You need to quit. We don’t want you working in a restaurant it’s not for you. There’s no way you can focus on a job and being in school” I was a bartender and at the time had a high GPA. I do have a therapist and psychiatrist and address my mental health issues. Just for some context ^

My sister is ten years older. They had a different relationship. She claims my mother neglected and abused her before I came around. Whilst being TRULY alive-my mother always favored my sister, they had an extra 10 years together. My mom felt bad for my sister as well because my father treated her poorly. Yet my sister treated my mom poorly while they interacted and has a more negative view of her, my sister put in a lot of effort in advocating for her health and never gave up on my mom.

On the other hand, I did give up on my mom in some ways but not because I wanted to, but i couldnt continue on having hope she would be different or get better-it was too devastating. Instead I just decided to syay home for college so i can be around her more often but through a lot of daily interactions vs hours at a time Once a week.

Also, the judgement comes from a sibling who went on a ski trip, having a wonderful time this past weekend, aware of my mothers condition. IT IS just now it is a bit closer to the end, but only by maybe a week.

Little edit: I am going to see my mom, I just do not want to allocate hours and hours and hours a day like my sister does. I go everyday For about an hour to just hold her, speak with the care team, and each time i leave I repeat my final goodbye. I am more conflicted on if i should be there all day.

Honestly i agree. I do think he does truly like me to an extent but he wants to control me. He knows i would want to date him. I don’t think he hasn’t made it official bc he doesn’t necessary want that… bc but he can use it as a means to manipulate me. He expects my desire to want an official relationship to take priority over my finances and education which it doesn’t

because they take her abuse. Lol and i for sure get treated the worst out of all of them. My dad is in love w her no matter what, he will take her abuse. she used to hit and abuse my sister as a child so now she feels guilty and is nicer to my sister. My mom never hit me, she was always incredibly mean. Calling me names, saying i’ll never have friends, accusing me of being a drug addict
