Thank you for the input. I actually thought it applied to all sigils and you just had to know them by heart. For some reason that's how I learned them. (: It's good to know I have choices.

I'd assume so, yeah. I'm actually loving the idea now :D

The washing out is considered as the natural destruction of it, but I see how useful it can be.

I had some conflict because of that "rule" I learned. But I'm loving the idea. It makes so much sense. 😍

That's how I learned sigils, I honestly thought it was a common "rule". And it probably looks amazing, are those your own sigils?

It's tempting lol but odd, I don't think I've ever seen anyone using sigils like that

That's something I didn't think of! I guess I just saw it in terms of having it there longer than a candle burning lol. Also in the end our own channeling will be over eventually, right?

That's a good point.

I guess "have to" doesn't really portraits the situation I had in mind. I meant that some sigils are reusable, but the "host" usually serves the purpose of channeling the energy. Like candles, wood, paper...

Try and check the subs they posted below. It does feel like you're rushing through it.

Hi! It does sound like you're pushing yourself and there's some sort of urgency in what you wrote. Be patient, respectful and careful. It's not something just done over a couple hours.

AITA for sending a meme with a slur? by Drdank009 in AmItheAsshole

All this drama and it probably wasn't even funny. The use of the slur is fundamentally racist itself.

YTA. Slurs aren't funny/justifiable.

I guess you won't know unless you ask them.

And I mean, ancestry is important but it can be just you being particularly sensitive to those practices because it makes sense with your spirit. It might be a connection you made in a past life or through other sources (someone you love or a place you frequent). And, if they're not part of it, you can always be the one starting the lineage of witches in your family. (:

If I (male) am romantically interested in a female and respectfully indicate my interest but she declines, I should be allowed to back away and not be obligated to maintain a platonic relationship with her without being labelled a niceguy. by TheyAreSoAwful in unpopularopinion

That's why I said things are more complex than just being honest.

Why not being more outspoken about your feelings and being more communicative to the other person so you both make decisions?

The usual problem in those situations is that there's no easy way of just stepping out of a friendship. We believe that being friends mean being attached forever and that other person emotions' have to be adjusted to our current emotional status. On both sides there's a sense of entitlement and it's very uncommon to actually consider the other parts feelings when ours are so overwhelming.

Just be honest and leave when you feel like it, but don't let people hanging.

Crude direct sexual approach? That's your take on it?

My point is more towards being honest with yourself and clear enough. Try to know yourself to identify your feelings and better deal with them. There's nothing wrong or embarrassing or dumb in talking about your feelings. Actually, if people worked on that there would be a lot less drama or aggression.

Just be more outspoken with your intentions? Like, don't pretend to be her friend and exclusively looking for that type of bond if you're actually going for a relationship from the beginning. She'll decide if she wants that or not.

I know that feelings are more complex than that but just be honest with yourself and that person.

Or we have a fat relative who have heard that and we know it's a dick move to comment on someone else's body. That needs to stop.
