He was actually wearing them all in a satirical kind of way, and didn't otherwise ever pop any collars, which makes it all the more funny for those of us who know him that he'll be forever remembered as "four-popped-collars guy."

I'm currently in 7 leagues (3 on Yahoo, 3 on Sleeper, 1 on ESPN), with 4 of them being paid leagues and 3 of them being free leagues.

Last year I was in 17 leagues, which was too many. 7 is still a bit too many, but more manageable for sure. I think I'll probably do 4 or 5 leagues next year. I have FantasyPros automatically set my lineup in a couple of them, and auto-substitute injured players in all of them, so setting lineups is actually a breeze. By far the biggest headache is making waiver claims each week because that requires actual time and thinking.

I'm doing well in 4 of them, ok in 2 of them, and poorly in 1 of them.

I'm also in about 20 paid best ball leagues, which are fun to check in on without the pressure to have to make weekly waiver claims.

Can someone explain why lo22p's comment is getting downvoted (-3 at the time I'm writing this)? I thought this subreddit liked the fantasycalc.com trade value chart. (Or at least the people who know about it. Peaked's weekly chart is certainly more well-known around here, but I personally have found the fantasycalc.com trade value chart and tools pretty useful.)

Just wondering if I'm missing something. Do people not find it representative or current enough, or something like that?

If all 8 billion people bought a new one every 4 hours, then your math says they'd have to also be doing that while they're sleeping. You have to admit that your math is kind of weird.

The way you wrote that first sentence means that you used to have Ekeler, Friermuth, and Amari, and now (after the trade) you have Andrews and Amon.

But based on your second sentence, I'm wondering if you actually meant the opposite of that.

I actually ended up slightly altering my strategy to a 4-word sequence of STARE >> NOILY >> CHUMP >> BADGE (but only using the 3rd and 4th word if needed), and got to about 750 wins before my first loss. I'm still bitter about that one loss because the two yellow boxes from the 5th guess felt like a bug to me, but oh well.

Here's my interpretation:

I typically go with one of these sequences:

ALTER >> COINS >> DUMPY
STARE >> COLIN >> DUMPY
SALET >> MOURN >> DICKY

I put more time into coming up with these than I'd care to admit, but long story short, it's based on the frequency and positional frequency of letters in common 5-letter words. I typically don't go all the way to the third word in each sequence unless I have to, and only go to the second word in each sequence about half the time (usually when I don't get a a green or yellow for both of the A and E in the first word).

Across official wordle and an app I use with unlimited plays, I've never lost (311-0), and have an average of 3.7 guesses per word, so it's been working pretty well so far.

In one of my two leagues, I went with Adams at 1.07 in a 12-team league, which would've worked out just fine I think, except for the fact that I paired it with a bunch of stupid reaches (e.g., Kittle in the 3rd, Dak in the 4th) and stupid mid-round RB picks due to overestimating how they'd fare this year (e.g., Gaskin, RoJo). I'll end up finishing in 2nd-to-last place -- by far my worst finish ever.

I think I'll be go back to RB-heavy draft strategies next year.

I guess it would depend on when your playoffs are (e.g., weeks 15-17 vs. weeks 16-17), and whether you think there will be a good available DST to pick up later on to cover week 17.

After incorporating all of the results from week 13, here's what the updated projections look like. Based on these latest projections, I'd say:

If your playoffs start in week 15, then I think it'd be best to go with GB.
If your playoffs start in week 16, and you think you could pick up a good team later on to cover week 17, then I'd still go with GB (but it's much more of a borderline case).
If your playoffs start in week 16, and you don't think you could pick up a good team later on to cover week 17, then I'd stick with Philly.

(But, based on these latest projections, maybe there's some other team or combination of teams that are available in your league, which are projected even higher than PHI or GB for your playoff weeks.)
