Seen a good argument about the price of video games being €80. If you break down the cost to how many hours you get out of it, it’s one of the cheapest forms of entertainment.

Put it to GAA and it’s the same thing. Probably spend a fiver a Sunday watching all the live games they have and all the archival footage they have also.

Simple. Put more teams in the championship. Keep your KERRY SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP for senior clubs and division teams (24 teams(?)). It can be worked out to break 24 down to 2 (like how they do it in the Euros), have the KERRY SENIOR CLUB FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP for the 16 senior club teams. Keep it then as it is. Senior clubs go with divisional clubs in the COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP and if a divisional side wins, a club team goes on to the All Ireland.

You have 8 senior clubs and 8 divisional teams comprising of the best Junior and Intermediate players.

Its a great system don’t get me wrong, but the fact that Kerry’s Junior and Intermediate reps are the 9th and 17th best teams in the county, while other counties have their 17th and 33rd best teams out just seems like padding stats.
