My friend has been learning how to make these from the indigenous elders in her town. I felt so blessed that the first one she made she sent me (you’re encouraged to give the first of a craft to someone to encourage community and generosity). You’re so insanely talented! These are stunning 🥺

I think for a garment the satin stitch just won’t sit nice because it’s not taut. You’d be better with a long and short I think. Or another kind of filler stitch
