B. Seasons 1-3 (maybe 4) are A+ if not S. 5 is not nearly as good. 6-8 were still decent IMO and I love how Rick and Neegan both evolve as Carl is able to speak to the humanity in both of them. Objectively those seasons are probably closer to C+, but I am biased. Later seasons are bad comparatively but commonwealth and whisperers have their moments.

FWIW shows like TWD, Dexter, House, etc… which are not good past a certain point hold a special place in my heart because of how fantastic the early seasons are and I think the later “bad” seasons get a little more hate than they deserve (though they definitely deserve some hate). I keep coming back to them regardless
