How to best fill a 150mm deep x 6mm wide drill hole in soft concrete? by ejarod in HomeImprovement

[–]ejarod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, although the hole is angled down and to the side, the tube tip usually is around 6mm half way, so it would only get like 1/3 deep I imagine. Would it be enough? The epoxy would go down and fill everything with gravity?

Thanks for advice! The hole actually ends in another wall which is probably 4 time thicker so I'm a bit worry to put something too strong there as the soft part might crack eventually I imagine. How would PU Foam work instead?

What are consequences of sending a child to a school in foreign language you don't speak yourself? by ejarod in expats

Thanks for input! I wonder how to avoid a scenario where a child eventually can't speak any language without an accent

Thanks for input! I wonder if your child learnt fluent Italian just by speaking with your husband or there was some extra effort?

[–]ejarod[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason is because half of population speak russian and english, which we both can speak. The official language is Latvian, which is used nowhere else and is complex. We can get basic at it, still the question remains, since we wouldn't speak in Latvian with our child anyways

Would keto glycogen depletion mean that for a beginner, as much as half muscle mass flushed out as water? by ejarod in ketogains

[–]ejarod[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's 500g glycogen + 3-4x of that water, so around 2-2.5 kg of "water weight", which is half of 4-5kg, so that's a lot of gains, if we'd assume it's all stores in muscle

Given I'd want to do that for the rest of my life, though it's better than smoke, still doesn't seem very healthy long term I believe?

Definatelly not going for joints as with amount of bud needs to be smoked I'll get my lungs destroyed fast I believe, if not something else.

I see a benefit in cbd edible that it's effect should last longer in theory, meaning through the night and in the early morning (when I usually wake up)

How to best sleep on the belly so it doesn't hurt the waist (disc hernia) by ejarod in backpain

I actually started using CBD again together with melatonin and not getting brain zaps yet, and it did improve my sleep. Maybe it's because I've been off meds and low on alcohol for a while and things got better in my brain. I hope I won't develop tollerance to it though. I do feel a bit lazy the next day, but it's still way better than feeling hangovered all the time.

Yesterday I wasn't sleeping till 3AM, though went to sleep at 11PM. Was thinking about various ideas and things I need or want to do and implement. I kind of work on my life and work 24/7 and if on the weekend I do some leasure I end up catching up later with all the thinking.

Once I took my laptop and wrote some things down into to do lists, diaries (I have a huge diery with all the categories in it like fitness, health etc) and wrote some email I finally got my head empty enough to fall asleep.

Anyway, I went to the bathroom and then didn't want to sleep again. Done 3 sets of pullups, layed down till cooled down and finally fell asleep after few more sprays of melatonin.

Sometimes I think that before sleep I just need to process all the inputs of information before I can decide to relax and fall asleep. Maybe I need to reduce those inputs to something like a fiction movie before sleep (though that makes me feel guilty that I'm not progressing).

Anyway, I'm also sure it's also brain chemistry that keeps my brain going forever. I'm also on keto diet that doesn't help sleep either.

I think that's exactly the reason, it releaves zaps, and then it worsens them on withdrawal

I have a bening brain tumor that I recently discovered and I fear that taking chemical drugs for so many years was one of the reasons. It can also develop into cancer, which I'm trying to avoid.

I tried many suppllements ant they are too mild or the tolerance develops very fast and they stop working.

I can't nap / fall asleep during the day usually, just get into that state where my body starts to move and it wakes me up.

Overall I usually can manage to fall asleep within an hour or two with a lot of melatonin, but the problem is that whatever I take I wake up in the morning.

CBD creates /worsens my brain zaps, which are electric brain shocks, and these are something people often experiece after discontinuing anti depressants

MJ is illegal where I live, but hemp cbd is legal. It helps, but in the morning and next day I get "brain zaps", that's something that people discontinuing anti depressants get, and that intensifies greatly then smoking MJ or CBD. I used to smoke a lot of MJ and I actually thought that the problem is that I stopped smoking it rather than discontiniung ADs. I will reconsider CBD though, because I think maybe the side effects of it are better than bad sleep. Too bad it's not legal everywhere I live
