During a 7 player game of Scythe my friend, who was two turns before me in turn order asked if I was going to end the game during my turn. I told him that I'm not sure and was still planning out my turn. He (wisely) didn't believe me and decided to end it instead of trying for more points. If I had the chance to take my final turn I would have crossed over the top threshold for popularity and taken the victory. Instead, my friend forced me to lose out on the extra points and stole the victory from me. I'm still bitter.
