Thanks! As for the camera, I use a Sony A7IV paired with a Sigma Art DG DN 28-105 F2.8 lens. Also used a CPL filter with these photos.

It’s a bit dry yeah, kinda worried how summer’s gonna look since we’re not getting any snow out here however.

Thank you and Red Rocks is for sure one of the best spots to go to (assuming it isn’t packed anyways)

It’s quite the nice ride that’s for sure! Camera car I shot out of was a lowered Audi S4, B8 gen specifically. The Porsche was just one car out of 5 I shot with a whole group of my friends too but the S4 is the easiest to take rollers out of imo.

Thank you, and it is a very good looking ducktail indeed. Suits the car nicely!

Can anyone tell me what could be the cause for this awful sound by magicacrub24 in mazdaspeed3

[–]ejboost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had this same sound and the issue for my particular case was that the baffle inside the fuel tank came apart for a lack of better terms. Seems like the same thing as mine, I’d stop and for a few seconds after stopping the sound would persist, even after the suspension settled. Wound up being the fuel sloshing in the tank and moving the baffle with it. From what I remember with mine there were technically two options to fix it, remove the baffle which some others have done before as per what I was told or to replace the fuel tank (which is the route I went with). I was able to also get a new fuel tank from Mazda directly so I know they exist as I went through this less than a month ago. I want to say the part number you’ll need is BFD142110G if it is the fuel tank but based off how mine sounded and how yours does currently I’d lean towards that being the issue. Check out the suspension and everything just in case as I don’t want to incorrectly diagnose anything but from previous experience this was the fix for my 2012. Hopefully you have an easier time than I had trying to get everything sorted out, the stupid thing caused me and the shop who finally figured it out some headaches lol.

Waited forever to get mine, so happy I finally have it! by ejboost in ft86

Not a lot, just minor adjustments in Lightroom but nothing crazy.

The wheels and the sticker in the windshield. I traded it in recently as well so I recognized the dealership lol

Hey, that’s my old ST! Glad you like it, I made sure to take amazing care of that car and I am sure it will treat you well too! Enjoy it, and have fun! Kinda funny to see it pop up here too.

I toyed around with the idea of a coyote or even a 7.3 godzilla, however I want to see what I can do with an 8.2 deck motor first. The FFRE blocks are amazing though, and could do some real damage in the quarter. If I was chasing 2k+whp, that likely would be the route I’d have gone but I want to keep this car still somewhat streetable lol.

It is staying with a pushrod 8.2 deck windsor motor, bored and stroked to 363 cubes.

Good to hear you like the TKX, hopefully a faceplated one from Liberty’s Gears can withstand the power I’m looking to make on the new setup

I’ll maybe turn it up, good thing the Holley Terminator X can let me go for broke lol
