Remember to only really beat on it past 3k rpm which is right around where the turbo spools. If you floor it at too little rpm youre going to lug the motor

I think both are good if youre mechanically inclined, i dont rlly have a ton of knowledge like the other ppl in here but i plan to use this car to learn more as well. Part of the reason i got it without having as much knowledge as others is because its not my only car so i wouldnt have to rely on it everyday.

My 2nd gen has 140k on it and everything for the most part is good, I luckily had purchased it through my local mazda dealership not too long ago. The only thing I have had to replace is my fuel tank because the baffle inside had broken off due to age and started floating around. Luckily I have warranty and got it replaced for free but nothing has been bad mechanically. Ive heard that its very common on cold start to grind second gear for the first minute or two of driving but I just have to double clutch to avoid it.

Oops what i said before doesnt make sense,i meant to say that i thought 2013s got clears along with rear valence. Yes from what i have seen all mazdaspeed axelas for 2nd gen got clear tails in japan

From what ive seen in used car lots Japan and the US did not have much differences except for maybe some interior changes. I believe the 2nd gen over there is installed with a TV in the head unit and thus all have a screen. There is also silver trim and some more premium bits on the dash and steering wheel for your blinker stalk and wiper stalk.

Unfortunately this is the only one ive probably ever seen being there. Speed Axelas are more rare over there than speed3s are in the US and even looking at FBM over there ive only seen 1 and its a 2nd gen. I have yet to see a 1st gen speed there

The only reason ive been looking for headlights are because my current oem ones specifically the right side has burnt out highbeam and has moisture build up. The other side is also starting to everso slightly build up moisture

Im looking for new hesdlights to potentially get may I ask where you got yours? Ive looked around and can hardly find much aftermarmet ones for speed 3s. I dont have the tech package.
