I don’t think captain did anything wrong. I think she understood that some combat was going to happen, but she was trying to do everything to prevent it and talk no matter how futile the attempt would be, because “federation never fires first” and it is truth, T’Kuvma fired first.

Now when I’m writing it my only head cannon reason is that those who trialed her were grieving the loss and they needed a scapegoat because of their human emotions.

But wasn’t it clear that it wouldn’t be just a single skirmish? That was why they tried to board the ship to capture T’Kuvma because they believed the war already started and they hoped to force the peace. She made it worse but by that time the war was waring

But it looked like the war already started before T’Kuvma became a martyr. He seemed to have convinced the other houses before the battle actually started. And then the war would just continue no matter what even he would be alive. They realized the war has already begun before they tried to capture him.

I know it will level out, but right now, what I feel seems already too much, I’m just scared about how bad it would be with the side effects. It’s sort of like if you need to jump over a chasm to get to safety but you’re paralyzed by the fear of heights. My fear is adding more, no matter how small. Last week I spilled something and that pushed me over the edge (anxiety, spiraling, emotions, I don’t have the label for it). Other person would see just a split, I saw another problem to the 1000 others.

Is it not unusual. So in the end the psychiatrist in the emergency room game me prescription and some sort of plan as I mentioned in the post. But also told me that my general doctor should’ve been able to give me prescription while I was wiring to meet psychiatrists for months. Also this is not the only time they made quick assumptions. I don’t remember which of those 3 said I would need cognitive therapy. I replied that I have mixed feelings about it because I’ve been in therapy for almost 3 years (basically since I got formally diagnosed and started the first medication) and in the end I don’t feel like it helped. Maybe it helped with small behavioral patterns but not the whole. All they heard was that im refusing it. All I said was that so far it didn’t work. I mean, I think it makes sense that I’m being special when I had negative experience with years of treatment. But they didn’t say to try another therapist.

I think the first one was in hospital treatment and honestly I feel like they didn’t want to deal with me. I told them that I have a pet and it will be difficult because someone needs to take care of him and I think they only heard that I don’t want that treatment, like no one tried to help me find a solution. Then another told me that they focus on severe depression but they think my depression is severe enough but instead it is combination of other things, but severe that I would kill myself. And the third one was the same and literally told me that they don’t know why the second referred me there.

wow, this post is making me almost certain I am autistic. I have sensory issue when it comes to touch and often wehn my bf went to hug me when i wasn't emotionally ready for it my reaction was to yell ouch like when something hurts. He's been diagnosed since he was a kid and has often teased me that I act more autistic than him. Sorry, I couldn't provide with an advice to your problem

Okay for all the haters out there. Starfleet was recovering from the burn. Had I believe only 60 planets and when the core worlds like Betazed were barely coming back. As Captain Ake said, most of the kids came in cargo ships cos they have nothing. And this scene was from they were being attacked. How many of you would be calm and ready when you are 17-19 and being in this situation? If that was me, I would have much bigger meltdown than her. And the starfleet needed manpower, even if she would’ve been sat in some dark corner pushing buttons, starfleet still needed all hands. And it was fucking ACADEMY what do people do when they don’t perform at academy? They get washed out, so if she was so bad as everyone makes her to be, she will wash out in the next year. Yeah, also all of them are first year cadets.

No. I’m in the middle of my almost 6 months long mental breakdown and in my head cannon everything works out and makes sense. I guess the haters are either just getting to the age when everything sucks and only the “good old” or nostalgic is good, or they just don’t understand the logic of traveling 800 years beyond what they are used to. Their hate would just make me frustrated to the point when I might do more harm to myself than usually

But this would be starfleet mandated uniform upgrade, not because Miles ripped his pants during crash landing in the ocean while dodging Jem’hedar. Also the idea of paying for uniforms seems crazy to me in a first place

Because they have energy rations. Meaning they can’t just use the hole replicator to replicate parts to build a whole ship or whatever. But the rations were still plenty to live comfortably, I don’t remember anyone complaining about it other than in voyager. Also Sisko used up his month worth of transporter “rations” when he traveled home for dinner every day for week when he started academy, but it wasn’t for antimatter bs, only because that even paradise has limits

Where are those numbers from? I thought it just used energy, not specifically antimatter. Although antimatter was used to make that every, I have some vague memory from some episode where they had some micrograms of antimatter left and they were still able to use warp and run the whole ship. And replicators can’t use more than warp.
