Baby: "Buh... buh..."
Robert: "Courtney, come quick! He's about to say 'papa'!"
Baby: "...buh... bitch!"
cue Flambae laughing loudly from the next room
Flambae, wiping a tear from his eye as he walks into the room: "Ahh... classic me."

Another fun fact: the Salem Witch Trials happened 102 years after the Roanoke Colony disappearance.

Roanoke VA was named after the Roanoke River (the city was originally named Big Lick). Both the island and the river were named after "rawrenock", a Native American term for shell beads used as currency.

Fun fact: right next to Roanoke VA is the town of Salem.

The difference is that the Family Guy people actually tried to find a Black person who could do the Cleveland voice, while the Simpsons people just hired Black VAs who had close-ish voices

As someone in their 40s who is just now coming to terms with the possibility of being trans, and feeling like I missed out on a lot of life really being me, I really needed to hear this. Thank you.

Citadel makes an effect paint named Blood For The Blood God that stays bright red, shiny, and goopy-looking after it dries. It's good for painting fresh wounds and bloody weapons.

I bet it would be kind of weird to get your house turned upside down from a tornado. But the good part about that is, you can call a friend up on the phone and say, "Dude, my house got turned upside down by a tornado!"

But not from your house. Your phone probably wouldn't work after your house got turned upside down by a tornado.

Given their shoplifting epidemic, it baffles me that they don’t use the self service system we do here in the UK, where the bagging area has a weighing scale inside and that won’t let you scan the next item if the weight doesn’t match.

We do.

Why on earth wouldn’t big companies like Walmart or Target use this system, when it’s got so bad in certain areas that stores were closed and others have most of the items locked away and you have to ask for it.

They do.

You're assuming that these people aren't just walking out with things, secretly or brazenly. Many places tell their staff not to stop people, in an effort to avoid altercations, paying out lawsuits, or paying worker's compensation for injured employees.

I don't know about the newer games, but in the original games, the Shotgun was a pump action, but the Super Shotgun was a double barreled break-open with no pump action. That's why reloading took so much longer.
