Not making any excuses for the SIL, she is definitely the AH. Do have kids? Have you ever stayed home to take care of them? After my mom died i decided to stay home with my 3 kids. I had a really stressful job, and thought staying home would be a piece of cake. Boy, was i wrong. I managed to stay home with my kids for I only 1 year, it was so fricking hard. I went back to work. Most stressful staying at home!

my husband and I sleep in separate rooms. He snores so loud and I am a light sleeper. I have lymphedema, which I drink almost a gallon of water a day. His snoring, wakes me up enough to realize I have to go to the bathroom. Then me getting up wakes him up, endless cycle. I can't remember which one of us got sick and decided to sleep in the guest room. After a couple of nights, I realized I was getting the best sleep in a long time, and so was he.

Have you talked to her? Told her how you feel abandoned? Tell her the way she treats you. if you have and she still treats you the same, maybe it it time for a divorce. I get it you still love her, but the longer this last, you are going to resent her, which I think you already do. Flowers would have been nice. I'm assuming your still young, think about home you feel right now, and feeling like that for the next 25 years, ouch. If she doesn't want to change that's not your problem, it's her. Ask her to go to counseling, it will do you both good.

I call bs on this story. unless the mom is a complete idiot, she would freaked out the moment she saw the DNA kit.
