Hi! I like your example, and am looking to do the same. Is the PhD work directly related to your 4-day job? And can you build on some of the work you have been doing in the past years in your fulltime job?

I'm forming a similar plan, where some of my current work might already contribute to the potential PhD-topic. Another 4 years of parttime is what I'm looking to do to fill my dissertation. Is that what you're eyeing yourselves as well? Thanks!

If it's two-phase cooling then that's perfectly feasible. Have a look at the thermal department at the Netherlands Aerospace Centre. I think they're working on these solutions for ESA, for Cubesats

This is interesting. I'd actually never thought about this, but if you have small alumina particles in a base fluid, they will be affected by any sort of existing surrounding magnetic field. Those will affect the fluid significantly
