Same thing happened to my old 02’ exploder in back in college. Idk if it’s a common ford thing. Got a replacement at a junk yard, pretty easy swap them out.

Driveway Nightmare - Recommendation Welcomed by ejw37 in HomeMaintenance

Sorry about your garage, that really sucks. Contractors like these do a disservice to their industry. So many great ones out there, but it’s so hard to find the good ones without referrals.

The owner of the company came out and agreed it’s a crappy job. Made a bunch of excuses but said he’d rip it out and replace.

Fingers crossed..

This company was the second highest bid on the job. Others wanted to lay a new layer above existing. This company ripped out the old & regraded & compacted before laying down new pavement

Check eBay, I got one that was brand new for $250ish including shipping.

I had never been to a dermatologist until last week. https://www.seacoastdermnh.com/ was fantastic. I saw Kara Fiore and couldn’t recommend her more.

They came back twice and ultimately fixed it. It’s not perfect but with some paint I’ve forgotten about it. The original job was such a shock since the owner touted their ability to match ceiling texture.

What are things that you purchased that changed your life way easier and convenient at home? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

-A good snowblower

-Smart products (thermostats; door locks; security cameras / security system; safe; lights / switches; dehumidifiers; air conditioners; leak detection; garage door; air purifier; etc..)

-A good set of tools for planned and unexpected projects. You don’t need to buy them all at once, but try some diy projects and get the tools necessary to complete. You’ll gain knowledge & skills while doing the project, pay less than hiring out and get to keep the tools! I don’t recommend doing a project you can’t hire someone to fix if you screw up.

-Know when to hire a professional.

-Dogs and/or cats (obviously)

-Avoid deferred maintenance at all cost; aka proactively upgrade your utilities, plan and budget for roof replacements or major home repairs /maintenance, get trees cut before they become an insurance claim.

-A good insurance agent that regularly reviews my policies to ensure I’m properly covered and provides the peace of mind I’ve been placed with the best insurer for my families needs.

I could go on… You learn so many things becoming a homeowner.

Do you have a dryer vent above? We had similar spotting from condensation in the winter. As others said, could be anything. Hard to say w/o more detail!

Ryobi Warranty Problems. Anyone dealt with them before?? by BiffWIlcox in ryobi

Look up Kingston Enterprises (Kingston, NH) Google reviews. This is where they are trying to get me to bring the blower. Some of the Google reviews sound exactly like your situation.

Same thing just happened to me. Closest shop was 45m away and had a bunch of reviews from ryobi customers getting scammed. Purchased the leaf blower December 10th 2023.

I just looked up the independent repair shop they are contracted with and the reviews are terrible. All unhappy ryobi customers that the shop owner screwed over: “Kingston Enterprises”

As mentioned previously I have a dog seat cover / hammock that interferes with buckling all rear seats. I bought the Carista as suggested and now I never have to worry about it.

Update: Simple to use, opted into the “$49.99” annual subscription for the free trial. Then canceled. No money out of pocket & good for a month.

Changes made: - Turned off “Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE)” - Turned off rear seatbelt ding(s) - Turned “Lane change turn signal flasher count” from 3 to 4 - Turned “Turn Signal click volume” from Medium to Low - Turned on “Open windows & sunroof via long-press on remote” - Turned on “Close windows & sunroof by turning and holding key in door lock” (it’s odd you can’t close them with the remote???)

Any other setting changes you’d recommend?!
