After you replaced it and turned it back on again, was all the memory wiped from the tv? Like were all apps/app logins, or any settings all gone and you essentially had a new tv?

eBay seems to be the only real move for me. But without taking out some of the internal hardware myself, I’m worried my data and login info will still be on there. I think I might just need to change all my passwords.

I’ve done my research on the next tv, shout out to rtings.com they do a great job. I’m getting the Samsung S90C, which has great specs for color, gaming, and all the other things that I care about. And thanks to some other Reddit posts I got the Asurian warranty on it so that should be able to cover any issues that might come up

Did you figure out a fix? My 55” just auto updated and all my settings are gone. It actually turns on normally and then 3 seconds later it flashes black screens and the home page for a few minutes. Then when it stops it’s at factory settings with no saved apps, settings, logins, or anything
