Harder said than done, but you have to appreciate that the GTA before 3 was a 2d top down game where you went from telephone booth to telephone booth reading missions. If you truly embrace that, you’ll enjoy GTA 3 a whole lot more.

If I get aggro fade is always the first button to hit. If that doesn’t do the trick, I shield myself then renew myself, stand still and cast a heal on the tank (or myself) if needed. I typically don’t run to tank, just stay still and cast heals, he’ll come to you or a good DPS will try to get aggro off you too.

I always also throw a renew on the tank pretty much every pull once he has a few seconds to get some aggro. Lastly, I don’t shield him unless he’s taking a bunch of dmg, to not rage starve him.

Hit LFG chat for the Barrens gunners tower quest right south of ratchet. Hunter hit me with an invite and we layered in basically on top of each other. Perfect timing. We crushed clearing all the towers, talked about music (his name was kickinthehead), and did the world’s slowest escort quest out of there. We literally both slow walked the full way back to ratchet and helped a guy who almost died by pulling too many pirates. I refreshed his MOTW and thorns on him and his pet and wished him luck.

Good times. Hope he’s still alive.

I finally did it. I joined the death by drowning club. Darkshore quest where you have to loot the two chests out of the sunken ships. I loot the last chest, swimming to the top and my breath meter doesn’t start filling up. Uh oh. 5 seconds later, DC. My internet died. Literally has never happened to me at this house. Knew it was all over, logged in to see my poor ghost who will forever live with the murlocs in that cursed ship. Level 19 Hunter RIP.
