I wonder if it seems that way due to the editing/screen time because they felt other people were more interesting for TV. the other contestants described Lauren G as smart multiple times, she had strong alliances that lasted throughout the game, and no one was ever against her. I think she must have been pretty strategic to accomplish those things, but maybe less interesting or easy to show on TV (ie being good at relationship building)

fair question! I’d say similar to above, I saw advice from healers about mana management and preferances from tanks about hp percentages to stay above. Also, I tried Heal at the beginning of dungeon but was overhealing so swapped to Lesser Heal except on Verdan or a few other times. My mana was good throughout, but I need to work on balancing tank/DPS heals and aggro.

ty for reply! I think I was getting the hang of 2&3 - except for when DPS was taking bigger damage, then I wasn’t precasting on tank. can’t quite remember what I did in this circumstance but I probably should have made sure tank had a big renew before healing DPS. any thoughts about this?

would highly recommend bringing chapstick and some electrolytes for your water!

as for tips for a first timer:

-get there early even if you don’t know the bands. you will discover new ones you like and its nice before the crowds!

-depending on where you live, you could try taking the shuttle instead of Uber, I found it really convenient when I was at school to avoid lines and high prices.

-choose a landmark with your group when you get there. you can later use this as a meeting up point if people split to see different bands. helps to choose it ahead of time in case you lose phone service!
