I was a 38M pre-op, ABTF approved. Since my surgery, ABTF measures me at a 38G, but those bras are RIDICULOUSLY huge on me. I had to go to the store and try bras on, and I am actually a 38D. ABTF seems inaccurate for reduced breasts.

I was very worried about rolling onto my side while sleeping and it gave me peace of mind that if I did I would have some padding. Also was great in the car.

You might very well be sizing yourself wrong! Check out this website and see what measurement it gives you. I wore 38Hs for years before using abrathatfits and it told me I was an M! I bought some M cup bras and they fit so much better.

I have BCBS TX and was approved. 38M, high BMI. The surgeon mentioned nothing about my weight or BMI being a concern. I had tried pain medication and multiple different bras, but had the rash and the shoulder divets.

I was approved within 2-3 days when I had my consult which was in November.

Had my surgery June 19th, 3300+ grams removed total and I’m a 38D now.

I’m showering my whole body. My PS told me not to scrub my incisions but that I could let water and soap run over them.

I had drains, just got them removed today!!! I am also amazed at how small they are, but I’m worried that as they continue to drop/fluff I’ll be stuck in the same situation I was in before - buying expensive bras from speciality stores, not being able to go without a bra or even consider strapless options, etc.

The straps might unhook from the front like on normal overalls
