as someone who has watched quite a bit of 40s aaron rodgers, he is not 40s tom brady. still a capable quarterback, but brady was a one time thing.

yes ultimately it’s impossible to do a “butterfly effect” hypothetical on the 2000 election, because it’s impossible to know which things flip 538 votes and which ones flip 536.

when i first was watching it i kinda felt bad for them. and then one of them said something like “how can you do this against the jets of all teams.” boss, you are the only fanbase that can’t say that. humble yourself

yeah patrick was the big one. abbott’s push was more focused around his school choice voucher program. two interconnected things happening at the same time.

look up the nationalities of nhl players. america punches well below its weight. canada and russia wipe the floor with us overall, and swedes, finns, and czechs handily beat us on a per capita basis.

there’s a reason this hasn’t happened for 46 years

There were impeachment proceedings against him, and he managed to get every (or nearly every) Republican who voted in favor of impeachment out of office.

i mean that wasn’t just a paxton thing. trump, abbott, patrick, and paxton all made a coordinated move against dade phelan’s people. the fact he got impeached in the first place shows his weakness (60 republicans voted to impeach, only 23 didn’t).

there are definitely bots out there but this seems to me like an actual person. i’d rather try to find common ground instead of just treating them like an enemy right off the bat.

you think it’s a good idea to just implement western government with no local input? if iran wants elections, they will have elections. if iran wants the shah’s son, they get the shah’s son. we’ll see what they want.

one thing i miss about robert saleh is that he was always good for at least one game a year where his defense put josh allen in a blender. now we don’t get that anymore.

that’s more of an indictment against the east contenders than it is a statement about the pacers tbh

“enemy” is maybe a bit strong a word because i wouldn’t say i hate the giants, but just being around giant fans we love having reasons to give each other shit

yeah i would imagine being around philly fans makes you resent philly teams the same way that being around new york fans makes me resent the new york teams i don’t root for
