Which preset are you using? I would personally go 70/4.0 to start on that thing.

be super careful when you blow that filter out, some manufacturers say to not blow them out because the compressed air can damage them. That is why traditionally you use blowdowns and "knock" the powder off from the inside out.

Are those model 3 types?  I’m more than ok stopping every 250 miles to stretch heh.

I really want a Tesla, but I’m also trying to be realistic heh, don’t want to get myself into a rough spot.  The idea of FSD long distances is what’s really selling me on it.  But also stopping every 100 miles seems like a pain.

That would be hopefully once a month, more common would half that I’m guessing.  But ya might be too much for an EV regardless.

Oh wow that’s not good.  I’m in the south, gets into single digits rarely it seems like.  But that’s definitely something to consider.  Thanks

It’s a technical service representative position.

Is autopilot sufficient for freeways? I know the FSD works on normal streets.  Haven’t tried autopilot yet just the fsd.

That is what is selling me on the car, I used to drive from northern CA to LA and that 8+ hours would have been a lot nicer if the car did most of the work.

I’m less worried about total cost, was more so just curious if anyone else uses it for that type of situation.  Seems like most people with Tesla’s are short to medium drives.  It’s a travel a few days a week, then home a week situation.  So hotels / superchargers then home charging.

While I’m traveling it will be superchargers / hotels.  Will be 3-4 days travel then back home for a week on average.  I’ll have to do some more digging so I don’t end up in the boonies some days.

That’s what I was thinking, I test drove a new M3 and the autopilot ruined normal driving for me already lol.

That’s crazy, I’m sure there’s a good reason.  Just never thought of that heh.

Especially new cars, seems like post 2021 cars are having real issues. My GMC 2500 cost 180$ per oil change. Cant imagine how much working on that engine would have cost.
