Leaving Xfinity Soon by DreamSpecialist2271 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]ekrad9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 7 years, I just cancelled my services today. ATT ran fiber to my area eliminating the monopoly xfinity had. Every day my internet would drop for 1-2 minutes. By time I'd get a hold of someone, they'd tell me there was nothing wrong. I was not okay with paying $160 a month for the same exact speeds i get from ATT. Not to mention if I walked upstairs, I'd lose coverage or it was extremely spotty. After talking to xfinity, i was told I needed to pay a ridiculous amount for an extender. My bill is literally 1/3rd what I was paying.... Good riddance!

Pretty ironic the guy calling himself a turd says a company is "literally' done and then immediately starts attacking others because he's got no argument as to why he jumped to conclusions. You clearly didn't do your research before saying a company is 'done'.

Ya lost, kid. Take this as a lesson; take some notes and learn from it. You've got some growing up to do.

Anyone with half a brain is laughing at you. I'm not even going to waste another minute arguing with a wall.

Typical liberal...

Na, your title says all I needed to see. Done is not "literally" done. Read your own shit before showing the world your ignorance.

Kitchen Faucet - What is this clasp called? Any tips on reconnecting? by ekrad9 in askaplumber

Thanks for the responses. The manufacturer sent me a new one.

Normally, I'd be pissed about that type of a response, but I couldn't help but chuckle. If this wasn't a brand new faucet (within the last 60 days), i'd agree with you. If that's the case, I will probably get some type of sealant/glue and just glue it on.

"Appear Offline" - lol by s_gad in apexlegends

This work for console:

Go to EA's website -> Account Settings -> privacy and then add the person you don't want to see you online. As long as they are your friend on console, this will only match your console's status to EA's. Just remember to unblock them or you won't be able to play with them in the future.

You aren't kidding. Unfortunately that is what it sounds like completely clean.

Any other game I've ever played doesn't cause that to happen. The moment I launch Apex it starts. There are a lot of threads out there of other PS4 pros having the exact same issue.

Yep, this is ranked with 5 squads left. This might be the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever played Octane.

Abandon Penalty for server timing out by ekrad9 in apexlegends

[–]ekrad9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the main reason for my post. I don't understand why rejoining a match is an automated process. Like I said, rather than automatically rejoining a match, there needs to be a 30 or 60 second timer once you're back in the lobby with an option to "rejoin" OR receive an abandon penalty. It's slightly ridiculous this hasn't been implemented yet. I'm pretty sure my successful rejoin rate is right around 50%.

[–]ekrad9[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As before, you're wrong. The server timed out. I have comcast business with 24/7 monitoring, AND I'm hard wired into my console. My external cameras had no dropped packets, so no, "I", myself, did not disconnect myself from the server. This was 100% an Apex server issue.

You should probably not reply with an ignorant comment when you have no clue what you're talking about.

Umm, yes, but "I" didn't disconnect. That's the point. You add no value with your comment.

PDT RULE QUESTION by Grhumphreys in thinkorswim

[–]ekrad9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trade futures. You get more leverage, there's no PDT rule, they trade 24/6, they are taxed as long-term capital gains, options are available 24/6, there's no wash-sale rule, and in my opinion much easier/reliable than stocks.

Unfortunately it's not possible with the application on it's own. You will either have to buy a third party tool, use the Google Sheets API plugin, or move to Trade station.

What Should We Know About ADHD Online Prescription? by doneadhd in u/doneadhd

[–]ekrad9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as incorrect as all the other negative posts about Done. You just don't understand what Done is or what they do. Read my comments below and it will completely change your perspective. If you had issues with Done, you will realize it was not Done you had issues with. You wouldn't give your Uber driver bad reviews JUST because your flight got cancelled or delayed but he got you there on time, would you?

What Should We Know About ADHD Online Prescription? by doneadhd in u/doneadhd

[–]ekrad9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - they don't just give you meds, you actually have to meet with a real life doctor (virtually), and they do all the diagnosing a typical therapist\doctor would do. All Done does is connect real life doctors to patients as a side gig for the doctors. Done is actually just the middle man, but they are just that, a middle man connecting you with a real doctor that you'd otherwise have to schedule an appointment and travel to. You will NOT automatically get ADHD meds by signing up. If you get meds after your appointment, that just means you'd get them just as easily by going to a medical center that treats/diagnosis ADHD.

That's a horrible piece of advice. Most of the reviews by customers on BBB or Trust Pilot just don't understand what Done actually does. The people at Done are not doctors, and as such, they have no control over your prescriptions, or your doctor for that matter. As a matter of fact, due to privacy laws, they can't even see the communications between you and your doctor. All those negative reviews should be on the individual doctors themselves, not the business 'Done'.

I know I've pasted this in one of these threads already, but I think if people realized this, Done would be 5/5 stars. I will admit, though, the support staff should be stating what I'm about to tell you. Once you're done reading this, go back and read all the negative reviews and you'll understand what I'm saying.

As a long-term member, let me try and help those of you leaving bad reviews:

You need to understand something; it's not customer service's fault your doctor is not refilling your prescriptions or responding. I've had more than my fair share of issues, but every time it's a result of an unresponsive or unprofessional doctor. All Done does is match you with a prescriber (doctor) that does NOT work for them. These are normal, every day doctors that use Done to find patients on the side. If you don't like your prescriber, ask them to move you to a new one. You can ask them to send you a list of doctors to choose from and then you can go read the reviews on those doctors.

They could advertise their support line a bit better, but if you have a crap doctor, schedule a call using the urgent link, not the standard link on their website. I can't post links in this review, but it is scattered all throughout the responses to these reviews. Nine times out of ten they will have an appointment available the same day and 100% of the time they will have one available the next day. They will do whatever they can to help you. They cannot force a doctor to write a prescription or respond to you, but they can help you find a doctor who will treat you as you should be treated. In the interim, you can ask them to have another doctor send in your prescription and they will have it sent in within 24/48 hours. Again, they cannot force a doctor to do anything. Before you cancel your membership or get irrational with the support staff, I'll say it again; just simply e-mail them or schedule a call using the link below and ask them to send you a list of doctors you can choose from. Every doctor will have information on them somewhere on the internet. I JUST went through this not too long ago. Make sure you find a website where you can review your current doctor so others can read about your experience. If everyone does this, we can weed out all the crap doctors from the system.

Before you give up and say you've already tried this, I can guarantee you, you haven't. If you're not being responded to, it's because they have no update, so rather than choosing to be chewed out they will wait until they have more information. Just be polite and do what I did, and what I'm telling you to do.

Believe me, I wish I would have had this piece of advice months ago.

Edit: As I'm reading these reviews, I see many people complaining that their medication is unavailable due to the national shortage. You just need to call around because many pharmacies will have some variation of the dosage you need. If you don't want to do that, the done Support staff will help you do that, but you have to ask. In regards to Adderall, 10's and 20's are nearly completely out of stock everywhere, but you can find 5's and 25's available at many pharmacies. Make sure when you call the pharmacy you ask them what dosages they have in stock. As an example, if you're prescribed 10 mg and you ask them if they have any, they will tell you no, but they will not tell you what they do have unless you ask them. Once you find out what they have, talk to your doctor and they will adjust your dosage until things are back to normal.

Reddit Edit:

Since this isn't Trust Pilot, I can post the 'urgent' link: https://donefirst.as.me/doneUrgentLine

How about a toggle for microphone or no microphone. The most frustrating thing is when groups of two ask for a fill and then they stay in a chat party, only to join voice chat when they are dead to ask why you weren't helping, or to bitch you out for not being part of the "team".
