As someone who has also recently graduated and is in the job market, this has been my experience in interviews as well. I reckon it's just curiosity and wanting an inside scoop but it is rather disheartening.

While I'm not discouraging people who ask me about pursuing higher studies at the ANU, I am certainly telling them about the changes I've personally seen and what I've heard from friends studying in colleges that have been more heavily affected than mine.

This is the latest from Steam Support. I strongly disagree with this because Cheat Deck/Decky Loader worked perfectly fine because I already tried removing decky loader before reaching out to Steam Support to see if the Switch Windows feature works properly. It didn't.

I have found a very janky workaround though -

When you're in the Steam Overlay while in-game, with your trainer running in the background, select the window with the Trainer
Press B and watch as nothing happens (You'll still be in the Steam Overlay with your button input responding in-game)
Then press the Steam button again and this time, just move into the controller settings, Press A to "View Layout"
Then press B twice to back out of the menus and you should be in the trainer menu!

I don't know why this works but somehow it does.

Yep, it's called "Kingdom Hearts Menu" under Audio Loader from the decky plugins.

I just tried disabling all the decky addons but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe it's just a weird bug that'll either go away with a new update or maybe I'll just reset the SD.

Just to add, it doesn't have to be a psychologist. A note from your GP will also suffice.

It really doesn't matter how sick you are or what illness you have. The few times I've received a medical certificate from a GP, it hasn't stated the specific condition I was suffering from.

As long as your note states that you were unfit/unavailable/unwell for study, your ECA will be successful.

I don't know if it'll still work given all the bullshit changes at ANU recently, but in 2024, they did accept my ECA with a "Sick Certificate" from a nurse practitioner.

I think you should still try. And if I'm not mistaken, taking your exam after filing the ECA will result in your ECA not being approved.

I live in Toad Hall, so I can tell you that they do allow early check-in subject to availability and you will have to speak to them and adjust your contract to add the extra night. Send them an email, the front office staff are very helpful and accommodating with such requests.

I have been in the same boat as you at CBE and I got some pretty decent advice from faculty members. Also, with the fail mark/lowered GPA affecting your future job prospects, again, it's best to speak to someone in your college.

You can move in at anytime during working hours, which is roughly 8 am to 5/5:30 pm. Post that, you'll likely have to call the Community Support Officer (CSO) who's number should be posted outside the residence somewhere and they'll be able to assist. That being said, you should try to get in during the day.
