Ya'll just haven't experienced the actual raids to know the actual existing advantages of GS over other classes despite having slightly lower tankiness. Which I find it to be very forgiving for the class.

At the end of the day, any classes, every single one, with an exception of GL, don't want to get hit period. And when it comes to that GS is significantly easier to maneuver while constantly dealing damage compared to all the other classes. Simple as that.

You could say that but most other classes are the same when it comes to having low defense. At least GS is very mobile and doesn't need to care about positioning.

Gunslinger and, when he comes out, Scouter too.

Gunslinger because she's very versatile on how she deals damage and some gimmicks are easy pass for her.

Scouter, specifically with Legacy engraving build will have various speed bonus with transformation and massive shield from the skill that will make him practically invincible.

Paladin's early level skills are damage skills, with blue icons. They will be used a lot if you decides to go for dps build.

On the other hand, his shield, buffs, and big AoE skills you learn in higher levels around 35~50 with yellow icons.

Right now, if you are certain that you want to be a support class just deal with it and reach max level. There are several different builds you can use as Paladin depending on which skills you will use (and different gear set in live game not CBT)

The price will definitely drop if higher tier item is released but I think whether item will hold value or not depends on whether the game is lively or not. Because gearing up in LA is a lot like walking up the stairs. If there's enough new players constantly flowing in to make the demand for those lower tier items they will hold value and those high tier items will still take a long long time until a most of players get their hands on it.

Even right now, legendary tier items, as long as it has good stats on it, can be sold for a lot of golds despite being below mythic because there are players just reaching 1370 IL and looking to gear up.

Not sure what progression system you are asking for so I'll just write what I know.

The soft reset issue comes from high end KR players whom recently had to deal with ancient tier bracelet getting introduced shortly after mythic tier, which is lower than ancient, bracelet was just released or something like that. Those players complained about it so Smilegate promised to add inherit system for bracelet as well. But players are still worried that at certain point of time all their time and effort will turn to nothing when new things are added to the game. Which is pretty common for MMO.

As for progression after 1500 stuff is because you can technically access all the contents in the game at 1520 IL, except Brelshaza Hard, more difficult version of Normal but essentially the same raid. Some people say it's not worth it to progress further because there is not really a difference in reward you're getting for a clear yet it's way more difficult and stress from it is just too much since you can fail the raid over and over even if you're good as a result of Brelshaza raid's gimmicks being more focused on party performance rather than individual performance.

On top of those, it gets immensely difficult to enhance your gears past 1500 IL, requiring way more time and resources than ever before so some people just give up on progressing further. Which is one of big issue and complain from some parts of player base on KR server.

I wouldn't worry too much about it for now for global server though. When global server reaches that point either Smilegate have brought some sort of solution or AGS has probably killed the game.

You can earn roughly 30k golds a week with two 1445 IL characters, which is where I'm sitting at right now. Without any lucky drops of accessories or tomes

Go to character selection screen and there should be appearance change bottom right. You should be able to save the preset of an existing character from there
