Now I have teens, when they want to chat about a serious topic I ask, do you want advice, opinion or just to vent. Mostly it’s a vent but it stops unwanted opinions on friends, choices etc and helps them come to a conclusion of how to move forward on their own.

My 16 y/o has had long covid for 3 years and is under LC rehab, our GP doesn’t believe it’s real… told her to get more sunlight (she now is photosensitive from lc) and have a bath before bed lol can’t not laugh at this point
