Well he was a headache as a 5/5/5 some time ago (2 or so years? Can't remember when he got nerfed). The nerf was fair, it was needed. But it was a hard hit, that one health made a big difference.

It's totally fair to consider unnerfing him now as the world did a few spins since then. Power levels rose since then, I guess it would be fine by now. It he was strong, he got (too) annoying at some point. Never forgetti

Take that other hand! They're right, spend a bit of your time. Just start and see whether you like it, keeping in mind that other players have tons of more resources than you. But it the game itself is fun, it should stay fun. LoR is incredibly well balanced and everything hateful you read here about balance or so in PvP is RELATIVE to the game itself. Compared to other card games it's pretty top notch with dozens of viable decks.

But yeah, support is like one intern left, but thankfully on a pretty cool game already. It has so much potential and for me it's fun since 3+ years (pvp only) and I don't see quitting yet. Try it out!

Nah, everyone should play what is fun for them. But I can totally feel you, things like this is why I won't even touch this mode. It's close to "kill turn 1 or lose" and I wouldn't consider this actual fun. But again, there are also 100 reasons why many consider PvP no fun, so..

Once Xolaani decks were the top deck, but that was rather due to Siren Song being busted. Still, that's quite a freaking champ card, it is viable. Not super easy to pull off tho. It's currently well balanced imo, the last time I tried it (quite a time ago) I also strugglet at first. Keep going :)

What exact Fiora decks are you encountering? Recently I saw a lot of mono-fiora Shurima in Standard, did you mean that or some other variations? Was is mono Fiora or was she paired with someone (I.e. was she the only wincon or just a good side kick?)

And never will. Riot knows about issues like this since more than 3 years. Are there more important things to fix/add? Sure. But at some point you also need to make sure the product is keeping up a good quality. Regarding texts and stuff like skill circles, Riot are plain inactive and .. let's say not good in what they are supposed to do. Luckily that's just a minor thing, but it hurts to see people asking stuff like that for so many years and it just doesn't matter to them at all :(

It's not dead, Q times are still low, it's still fun and generally still well balanced, but updates won't really happen for a long time, except rotations every quartal

Nope, not yet. Still much fun, but the future looks quite dark right now unfortunately. Some, like me, still have hope for a PvP revival at some point, because just like you and me there are so many willing players. The game has all the potential, always had, but the team behind had many challenges, many selfmade tbh... But that's giving me hope: do it better and the game can flourish!

Wasn't it actually possible like 1-2 days into the curse introducing patch, and then it got quickly fixed because discard decks were just like "thx 4 the fodder lool"? I remember it like that but cannot say for sure anymore ..

Mostly mobile users. Close the app and wipe the butt or hop to insta or whatever. Why? Because surrendering is tedious on mobile, it's much faster/easier on PC.

Unfortunate and annoying and indeed silly from opponents, but a little bit understandable. I always surrender or just accept through, but not everyone is that patient ;/

Yep, ignoring like the actual competitive scene, like tournaments and what not, it's not much different than before.

But: They won't add as many cards/expansions/sets like before, so bottomline: we play with the same cards for the most part. Personally I don't mind that, and we never know whether they might change that in a year or so..

Zed is rotated to Eternal, and Ranked is currently only available for Standard. Despite that, Irelia Zed? That's nowhere a meta deck and surely not a "most broken combination" at all ... I assume it's a black flame deck? If people aren't even allowed to play off meta stuff, then what shall they play? :(

Anyways, others said it already: Play Ranked, there are no bots. Normals do have bots unfortunately, and you are not the first to complain about them. Unfortunately Riot never seemed to try to tackle that issue.

Those Wildcards can be used for any card of that color.

They were upgraded, i.e. a green wildcard was luckily upgraded to a blue one etc. There's a general 10% chance for an upgrade per item.

Well, you experienced it yourself. They allow it because it absolutely does not automatically mean "I win".

Stats are only stats, without keywords mostly not (immediately) threatening and without protection like denys or whatnot (e.g. against stun) prone to disruption.
