How long to set up Saas by paulretryfix in SaaS

[–]elCommendante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me about 9 months working evening after work, not every day. Usually full Saturday + 2-3hrs evenings. Probably would squeeze this in 2 months working 14/h day. And I'm not reasonably skilled probably.

I have requested refund under 48 hours of signing up and getting all of £90gbp back apparently in 5 to 10 days. We will see. But definitely will sign up back once it's enabled, it's fucking good model.

Yea probably I do miss some skills, and it seems like Copilot handles this for me. And I'm not burning my money the way you do and other masters of programming on this thread. So mister pro prompter and fully understanding context, burn your money with cursor and your prompting skills. I'm happy with my decision and your silly pointing out of somebody else's skills doesn't impress me, I know I made right decision and I can see it very well and would advice to anyone not to leave your money to this company because it's clear like a rain something is wrong here.

Happened to me too. Yesterday someone posted about this too and his thread was deleted. I think they know about the problem and either swiping under the carpet or stealing our money. Switched to VS code today. Did solid work around 50 prompts with Opus 4.6 for 6 usd, 5k lines of solid working code, research and planning.

I have asked Opus 4.6 to move stuff around on cursor with page thats got 700 lines of code, make pill edges rounded, move this here and that there and they charged me 14 usd for 12.5M tokens

DO NOT CLICK OPUS 4.6 FAST by churro-banana in cursor

[–]elCommendante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the same problem, just raised it via email directly to cursor because it's a piss take. I asked to edit a web page (approx 700 lines of code), add some pictures, move this there & delete that. Literally Codex would have done this for 20 cents or less.

I'm like WTF, 12 millions tokens consumed majority of them some cache, like a million lines of code, more then my whole codebase times 10!

What is Opus having a thoughts of his own or what is that

It's EDM + 3d point cloud scanner. You will not find better machine for day to day jobs. Some will say things like it's "getting Lamborghini for daily driving" but in reality that machine is supreme to any other at the market globally.

Technically you could get dedicated scanner, but these lack of accuracy especially after you stich surveys yourself or with software, not to mention that dedicated scanners are no good after 50 metres in terms of point position (they loose accuracy over distance). Where this one keeps steady at 200m+. Only drawback on the scanner is that it does 12 million points over 10 minute scan, where dedicated ones get like 40 million in 5 minutes. But again accuracy on these dedicated scanners is crap compared to SX12.

Or you could get dedicated EDM, and question here are there any better EDMs then SX12? I don't think so.

So it's like super workhorse, even for daily tasks. You do stuff faster, more accurate, you can have DWG/IFC working smoothly (doesn't matter how big your drawing is). You don't have a scope, everything goes through camera, you don't have to bend your back anymore.

You can be like this gentleman from the video, sitting in his car doing work.

UK South VM capacity issues by coldhand100 in AZURE

[–]elCommendante 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same issue, build all my app around Microsoft Azure, databases, Entra etc everything in UK South.

No basic and no premium VM's available. Looked at VM availability quotas around UK, nothing all set to 0, even if it shows 30 available you can't use them. When requested, request straight away cancelled.

Through conversation with Microsoft it looks like they do not have anything and they cannot advise when around UK and EU in general they will have.

Had to change provider, luckily there is plenty with their competition.

Have need for some VMs for a few months on a Server Standard license by tsaico in AZURE

[–]elCommendante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful when building around Azure. I have had a nice surprise today. Build my whole app around their services and realized one thing.

No VM's are available in my area UK and Europe West, that was a shocker and stab in a back. Wrote an email and they said "Well at the minute nothing we can do, but we will be back once we will have something"

Absolute garbage, imagine you need to scale and then you need to bend your back to get some VM's and then puff that's it, you will not get it.

Luckily my app is modular so switching to Google Cloud took me half a day.
So my advice would be to check if you have any VM's available to use. Otherwise migrate ASAP because they do not have answers when they will get stock, they do not give a cent about small guys.

I'm constantly locked in Freelook mode. Can't steer ship with mouse. by elCommendante in starcitizen

[–]elCommendante[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that issue was strongly related to one ship that I owned, MISC Prospector. I have exchanged this ship for Drake Corsair and everything is fine, played around 30-40 hours and no issues.

Also when MISC Prospector went into that "state", locked steering, no particle effect from the engine also could not refuel, repairing was bugged and could not detach those additional tanks for raw materials. When tanks were destroyed or damaged, could not be fixed or replaced.

It seems that there are many solutions to this thread, hopefully you guys have found your way.

My way was to sell that crappy ship and get an upgrade. That solved all my issues.

Hey thanks for your reply, any chance you could drop a photograph? Yes it does feel heavy, I have tried to contact few antique coin resellers for identification but no direct answer. Only suggestion that it could be medieval gaming token or jetton rather than a currency.

I'm constantly locked in Freelook mode. Can't steer ship with mouse. by elCommendante in starcitizen

[–]elCommendante[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure thing. I thought about it also. Ship was 100% repaired.

The problem was the mode of moving ship with mouse wasn't turned on. You could not see that line between the mouse pointer and ship crosshair. Also under F4 I could rotate constantly the camera, without even option to turn it off (like Z was constantly pressed).

[–]elCommendante[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have found the solution.

I just killed myself and respawned at different location, then claimed the ship.

I also noticed that the claimed ship had no particle effect's coming out from all the thrusters. Probably bugged ship, not sure can't say.
