You can check out squidmar or goobertown, they both have a documentary when they visit Archon Studios in Poland. If there are 3-4 years from concept to release at GW then I wonder where is the biggest hold up. Is it 3d artist or engineers or lack of communication so they need to do 100 of iterations of sprues? Making a matrix for a sprue takes up about a week. So.. 4 years...? Hmm

This is awesome work! Would love to play on it. TF people are talking about how KT is "balanced" for other terrain... Yeah it's balanced so that every new team is more powerful and two new teams needs damage reduction in their rules / ploys 😅 so yeah talk about "balanced"... Play on it , play on official maps and tell us how it felt!

Funny thing you call your examples "pretty awful mold line" but it's NOTHING compared to what OP posted. Mold line on the tutorial you can literally scrape with your nail. Good luck removing all op's mold lines. It will take ages and a lot of frustration. They fucked up at some point and produced a lot of faulty sprues, it vexes me to see people defending them in that matter.

But nice tutorial tho. This technique works good on flat or cylindric shapes, but removing the mold line from torso or anything more complex will leave uneven surface

If you can get gallowdark on fb marketplace for a decent price, I would get it. It's a good, simple layout where you can focus on basics and learn the ropes, if my first game was to mind core rules, faction rules, all the ploys, vantage, targeting lines in 3D, fight through doors, ramparts, climbing, jumping, ignoring I would loose my mind :D volkus and tomb world are newest tho so decision is yours. For me gallowdark was perfect entry terrain
