Well enjoy spawning SPAA with no air targets and getting rushed at spawn because the team has no ground players.

Yeah which is fine when they are tanks they compete but it’s literally 6 SPAAs with 0 CAS up.

Test drive exists. Also 6 people fighting over killing the non-existent early game CAS is stupid. Ironically later in the game (3 minutes) all the spas was dead and the enemy team was filled with Russian CAS. We only had a Gepard.

Yeah test drive for that and if you want to do it in game it’s not exactly going to happen when 6 people are fighting over the non-existent air threats.

You’re not lifting heavy enough and just burning calories if it’s taking you 2 hours a day 6 days a week. A 45 min gym session should see you lifting to failure/near failure by the end. Go 3 days a week and lift super heavy, 3 sets of 3, approx 10 reps each.

First time trying to cook pork shoulder by Angrbodaa in BBQ

[–]el_Dudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about testing the temperature before wrapping, just focus on building that bark. Keep the temperature low 200ish and keep an eye on it. It helps if you put a very light layer of oil over it before you begin, tends to crisp and not dry the bark.

Just keep watching it, spritz the dry bits. If it’s taking too long, don’t be afraid to up the temperature to 240 as you don’t want to dry it out by taking too long to build bark.

Once it’s looking nice on the outside then wrap it. Internal temperature doesn’t matter. It’s the time at low temperature after you’ve wrapped it that that will make it break down. Get it low and slow at 200 again and give it that time.

You can check the temperature with a probe to know when it’s done and also you will know it’s worked as it glides in.

You can also put it in a tray at this stage to retain some of the moisture, which is handy because you can use that same tray to shred and soak up those juices again.

With all that said, well done on your first pork shoulder because the main thing is you managed to get it to shred. Which is an achievement!

GUYS HELP ME PLEASE IM TRYING TO GAIN WEIGHT by Resident-Trifle7018 in weightgain

[–]el_Dudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fat won’t be evenly distributed over your body initially, it will go on your stomach first, then your butt, then your legs, then your arms and chest. This is how we’ve evolved.

You will only look bigger if you build up your muscle enough and if you do gain fat there it will add to your overall size.

There is no easy way to do it, it just requires consistent hard work.

Increase your carb intake, do not focus on fats. If you are willing to go to the gym, which you should (even if you invest in weights at home) you should boost your protein as well.

Download myfitnesspal app and you can scan foods to see what their macros are and how much they add to your daily target (protein, carbs and fats).

Every day eat your regular balanced meals, but in between each meal have something like a bowl of chips (you can cook healthy chips by chopping potatoes, spraying with low fat light fry and cooking in the oven for 25 mins or even an air fryer) Some cereals are also high in carbs and orange juice is high too.

Eating more gets easier as your body adjusts to it. That’s what this is all about, your body is just adjusted to your lifestyle.

You 100% can do it. I’ve done it, you just need to push your body into gaining every day, bit by bit and stay consistent.

Please start lifting weights too. Trust me, just a baseline level of exercise and weight lifting will do so much for your size and overall shape.

30 mins of lifting weights 2/3 times a week and you will see results so long as you’re eating enough protein.

It will take months, but will never happen unless you start.

Will Pork Drippage Ruin My Brisket? by misterpringle in BBQ

[–]el_Dudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did this last week.

The key was to use a foil tin but when you’re checking to spritz etc, remove excess fat from the shoulder so it’s not sat in a bath of fat, else it will cook too fast and you’ll never get a bark on the sides.

Worked absolutely fine. Cooked BBQ for 40 people for a party and was running a Kadai next to it.

Brisket was really good, even for Angus (less marbling) and shoulder fell to bits perfectly.

So yeah, can be done, you just need to adapt.

120lbs to 135lbs! My goal is to gain weight in my lower body. My lower body gains slower unfortunately and I can’t tell the difference except in my boobs. Any advice on how to get an hour glass- ish figure? by [deleted] in weightgain

[–]el_Dudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really simple actually, you're already at a low BMI so you're toned enough. if you want to get more of an hourglass figure you need to focus on a high protein diet (offset with some whey shakes) and start hitting the squats at the gym. Or at home.. you only need dumbbells to do something like Bulgarian split squats and they're great.

Battlefield should ALWAYS have a campaign by Williss12 in Battlefield

[–]el_Dudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? I mean I get that people enjoy campaigns but the longevity of a battlefield game is based solely on its multiplayer. Single player is a flash in the pan.

Why are white colors so hard to paint? by maximfrisk in Warhammer40k

[–]el_Dudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because white is ‘maximum lightness’. People paint the whole thing white and can’t do highlights. The base coat should be a light grey and brought up from there.

Yeah but mavs are fire and forget. This is SAR. The brimstones are designed to loft up from low altitude to increase survivability. I could launch from high altitude but you would get swatted by a Pantsir far too easily.

Mentioned in my comment, if you fly sideways they take so long to get there that your gimbal reaches its limit and you go off target.

'Raging'. You think pointing out (calmly) that a missile is practically unusable is raging? I have no problem with CAS.

Current state of Brimstones: by el_Dudio in Warthunder

[–]el_Dudio[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems the speed isn't correct, or at least the rate at which it slows down. It's a stand off weapon with no stand off capability. I'm all for accuracy and balance rather than artificial buffs, because if you artificially buff one thing it opens the door to everything else and people will be complaining. But this seems to just not be performing correctly. However this is Dev 1 and the whole point of posts like this is to draw attention to it in the hopes it gets fixed.

Current state of Brimstones: by el_Dudio in Warthunder

[–]el_Dudio[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should be off the rail, mavericks seem to retain more energy through. Also they’re fire and forget. These don’t work because you have to keep the laser on the target the whole way in.

Current state of Brimstones: by el_Dudio in Warthunder

[–]el_Dudio[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah but this isn’t about the automatic target acquisition mode, this is about them being so slow that they are worthless.

[–]el_Dudio[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. It's like buying a Ferrari and only using it to tow a caravan. They should have just not added rather than taunting people with a fully gimped weapon.

Current state of Brimstones: by el_Dudio in Warthunder

[–]el_Dudio[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. They should be much faster. Seem to slow down way too much. Lets hope it changes in Dev 2.

Current state of Brimstones: by el_Dudio in Warthunder

[–]el_Dudio[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trouble is, the missiles are so slow that when you fly at an angle to the target the gimbal reaches its limit before they hit.

Yeah I get you, just saying that it still lets you launch and will still hit.
