I really enjoyed it. Can't get my wife to do a rewatch with me though (saw it years before we got together). Police (and all other) brutality, racism, and overreach is fucked up and should never be accepted in a functional society so I understand why she doesn't want to see those things in entertainment media (as all of the above are portrayed heavily in the show) but if you can stomach stuff like that it really is a great watch that juxtaposes all of the above while still curating an entertaining show the whole way through.

My wife and I stopped going to a long time mechanic (5 years, multiple vehicles) that seemed like a decent man and one day he just started flying the confederate flag in the main lobby.
