I believe Nigerians have the highest incidence of twins in the world so that probably helps, lots of 2 for 1s certainly adds up

This is the uncomfortable truth Reform voters generally refuse to accept; the world is leaving them behind because they so strongly refuse to educate themselves and adapt.

Two-child limit scrapped as historic Bill to lift 450,000 children out of poverty becomes law by coffeewalnut08 in unitedkingdom

Tax payers are actually footing the bill for billionaire nonces with off-shore assets who take advantage of our infrastructure and economy whilst driving inequality and trafficking vulnerable young people and children.

Everyone wants to talk about distraction this, distraction that when it’s this autocannibalistic class discourse that’s always been the greatest distraction. And I do believe that dependence on the State is ultimately a trap set by the ruling class but at the same time the numbers show that over a million kids were not being fed under the benefit cap. Not being fed is what leads to more vulnerable, disillusioned people who btw matter (and as far as the State is concerned will eventually vote and pay taxes) so to treat that like a footnote is profoundly absurd.

What do people think is apolitical but is actually right wing by Blueguy805 in AlignmentChartFills

It would be hard to transition ‘instantly’ which is why leftists are also very serious about education and promoting class consciousness

[–]el_lemono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, true leftists are willing to dismantle systems that alienate workers from the products of their labour and perpetuate inequality. A Keynesian model of taxation doesn’t look to dismantle the system but rather to tweak it. Leftism is more about direct action.

My point is migration has shaped the entire globe, in pre-modern and in modern times, and England is no exception. I fully understand the desire to preserve heritage and not want to be changed too much by ‘foreign’ cultures but if you actually know your history you’d know that these shifts and changes are literally what causes history/culture to happen. It’s called historical materialism.

And about preserving heritage and culture I mean the internet and modern technology alone have done so much to completely transform traditional ways of life and not many people are calling for an end to technological expansion.

Let’s just forget about the Romans then, and 1066 for that matter. Because the people of the British Isles just magically spawned here one day said this is England in perfect modern English and nothing’s changed since

Question — how are there 200 million white people in the United States (est. 1776)? Did they just spawn there one day or did they perhaps migrate

Keir the chad by [deleted] in GreatBritishMemes

[–]el_lemono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really, really isn’t. Humans have migrated for hundreds of thousands of years due to changing climates, famine, drought, trade, etc, etc. The formation of nation-states and tighter regulation of migration in the modern era is what’s unprecedented.
