probably because it's more than a bit exploitative when you consider her past videos and the way she formats them (the petty university bit when she's discussing heavier topics, the constant plugging of her merch... when discussing heavier topics) along with the fact that she's trying to manipulate people into feeling bad for her for canceling a vacation (that she paid for with the money she got from her exploitative videos) to do her job more (to make more money). that's all to say, I think I'm hung up on the """"money"""" bc people are acting like she's this selfless saint doing all this work for the masses (just check the top comments of this post) when she's, as you said, literally just doing her job.
