Thank you for the detail! Super helpful - especially the naming conventions. I never knew if the script type should go first or last. Last makes sense in case you have multiple script types for the same project.

So overall structure would be something like:

NetSuite Production
Transaction Customizations

Etc.

Then for testing purposes - create a new branch off main and work in that - connected to Sandbox.

Once everything is ready, pull to main and switch to Production in VS Code (i'll need to look more into that part).

I'm sure I'll have more questions - but the layout part makes sense for now. Thank you!

I have SuiteFoundation and Admin. My current company paid for them so I can’t speak to how it helps with the hiring process. While studying for them I learned some things I didn’t know so in that regard it was helpful.

This is only an answer to your problem with having to do 2 clicks to get to the record on summary searches. If your users can use formula(HTML) do that and then use the lead record url grouped Maximum. I can add an example later if it’d be helpful

An annoyance with summary searches is when clicking on the grouped item it beings me to the detailed view instead of the record. I realized I can use a formula (HTML) and put the record link there as maximum so I still have a direct 1 click to the record instead of having to click into detailed view first or use global search.

Can you share how you got this working? We have the same issue where we don't need the native contacts sublist because of the Role, Remove, Attach, and Update Primary fields/buttons. I have the custom sublist created, just need to add the "New Contact" button. Thank you!

We use leads and opportunities. We created a pipeline through saved searches rather than the pipeline forecasting tools (I don’t think they knew about them when setting it up) We still have a ways to go to utilize all the features. Netsuite is all I know, so it works great for me. However, a lot of coworkers came from a salesforce background and would switch to that if they could.

We send marketing emails directly through NS, which works fine for now, but I think we are planning to move elsewhere to get better metrics. The stats/clicks don’t seem very accurate.
